Yeah its kind of weird looking alright. You would expect a new Deux Ex game to be a substantial leap over the last one. This looks like a last gen game at times only at 1080p. Lol and of course, Xbone STILL can't achieve 900p or a steady 30fps lock on a game that isn't even that impressive in 2016.
Exactly. Will 2 more months push this game from being generic with embarrassing optimisation for the base console release, to critically acclaimed like every other FF game before FFXIII? You can bet your ass it won't.
Pity it isn't a shortcoming like "we are so ashamed that the Expansion Pass is only 15 quid on top of the 75 quid for the base game."
Because then you get the terrible PC version of QB that was announced only 3 weeks before the game went Gold.
Why would they increase it? Do you think an extra year or 2 would have made Quantum Break much less generic than it is?
Naughty Dog put out a game so much better than Quantum Break and it didn't take them six years to make it either. In fact, ND only released The Last of Us in June 2013, then a DLC follow up 8 months later that won more awards than any full Remedy game to date, then they remastered TLOU on PS4, then helped out a bit with Uncharted Collection for Bluepoint Games ...
Its not hard to do a better game than a steaming turd though.
So like everything by 343i then.
There are people that believe the current Xbone delivers a better overall experience right now and, apparently, has done so since November 2013 too (720p 22fps Dead Rising 3 anyone?).
So of course the same people are going to wet themselves over a Xbone console that can actually play next gen looking games at native 1080p and above like the current one can hardly ever seem to do, even on exclusives.
Lol, people actually checked this out??? I don't even know what is going on in the screen above and I'm not looking into it any further.
Lol the Nintendo NX was announced in March 2015 and is out in March 2017. Exactly what part of that "announcement" is close to the release???
The Wii U was out in November 2012 and they didn't give info like release dates until September 2012. So January is a good bet.
No, that prize goes to Forza and its Tekken style ghost data system called "Carvatar".
You got it, at launch. :)
About time. The funniest thing is the amount of people who defended this and had no idea how wrong they were.
At least it will fill the inevitable void that will be the 6 to 9 month delay of Mass Effect 4 unless that game is actually going to go gold in 3 to 4 months time.
Not at all. These 2 months will help them to make a more optimised game because ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THREE MONTHS wasn't enough apparently lol.
And the 2 very things that you just mentioned are highly likely NOT going to happen in November. But will you buy it regardless?
The saddest part is this is the closest thing you will get to a real modern day Tomb Raider game.
And that "impossible task" is making a main series critically acclaimed Final Fantasy game. Unfortunately, I've known since E3 2013 that this game will not meet that goal, by a long shot.
Yeah they should have added a 3.5mm jack and fixed the completely useless and broken d-pad with an overhyped clearly marketed brand new controller (and do it every year this past 3 years too).
