"Certainly Xbox 3 was actually on the list because, well, you've gotta catch up. You don't want to be Xbox 2 compared to PlayStation 3. We actually talked about that... You don't want to feel like you're a generation behind, so why not skip?"
Haha and the amount of people who have denied this for years. CALLED IT........ 11 years ago. There is no way they were ever going to call the second Xbox "Xbox 2" when a PlayStation 3 existed. Funni...
General audience were probably confused over the 2 new consoles that were announced at E3. Who knew?
It sure does BUT it doesn't sell in video games as much as a Youtube thumbnail picture. As people have stated here already, nobody bought Tomb Raider JUST because of sexy Lara. But I guarantee you 90% of the viewers on a particualr Youtube video clicked it because of the thumbnail.
I'm not when I get them for around a tenner later.
Which is weird as Ghost Recon Badlands looks far more like GTA V than Watch Dogs 2 actually does. Well that bit from E3 looked like Trevor's area of the map in Blaine County anyway.
"Making billions"? I thought Pokemon Go was raking in 1.4 million a day a week ago? So since it launched it couldn't have made more than, lets say at least, 30 million so far.
Since when is 30 million squid = THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of millions?
And so should everyone hold their breath. DICE are after only after releasing a Single Player only, new, highly anticipated Mirrors Edge and look how disappointing that was.
Wait, they own mathematics?
Cross Play has been there on PS4 and PC since it launched a year ago now.
You mean RED DEAD 3? Oh okay. Red Dead 2 already launched 6 years ago with Red Dead Redemption. Calling it Red Dead Revengeance (yes not even a real word) makes more sense than Redemption 2, idiots.
@Thatguy-310 Speaking of walking and running. they also copied realistic movement of the human race and translated it to stunning animations in a videogame. Wish other developers would "copy" that.
Then again ND's animations were always stunning. That is why a game like Jak and Daxter from 15 years ago have aged amazingly to this day. Yet games by other big studios like Remedy (Max Payne), Crystal Dynamics (TR Angel of Darkness), their games were dated and re...
Too late, as a major Resident Evil fan (back in 2006 that is, of course not now), I thought this would be a great game to play. Then Capcom never brought it to PS3, then they brought over that Lost Planet garbage, then they brought a PS2 looking Dead Rsing to Wii.
So that series died for me a very long time ago. Don't care what other scraps were released for PS3, they clearly want it to be a significant series on Xbox, so you are welcome to it.
And why are people losing ...
@TFJWM Even the PCSX2 emulator to this day is atrocious. The day the PS1 ePSX team make a PS2 emulator and their .4 Alpha version STILL will be better than the current ver of PCSX2, then you can say PS2 emulation is brilliant.
Still can't play Jak and Daxter from 2001 without the character's eyeballs missing. Real nightmare fuel right there. Do we even need to talk about PS3 emulation after that? No clue what Darth is talking about then.
And yet the closed, locked down, proprietary, forced use, no value for your yearly subscription, region locked, 360 days ARE the glory days that Xbox fans harp on about. Maybe I'm being too harsh and real.
Oh wait, this Xbox fan site said it itself "one of the biggest positives on the side of Xbox's online services is the Games With Gold programme". So there you go. One of the biggest features of Xbox Live is the feature they added 12 years later to the se...
Hmm lets see, does one of the tracks in CSR2 have over 1.2 million trees? Nope? Didn't think so.
But don't worry. Mobile is set to beat PS3 The Last of Us, no, Uncharted Drake's Fortune visuals any day now.
No. If Microsoft didn't announce a Scorpio at E3 2016, PlayStation's stance would have been the exact same as it is now. The big rumour along with Neo's existence in March/April was that it was never going to be at E3 (no matter how many of you want to deny that) and it has a release date for October around when PS VR launches.
Nothing has seemingly changed in the Sony camp with the upcoming Scorpio.
But please go on yet again explaining how the silence...
That would explain the game somehow looking better graphically than the actual main Pokemon series of games.
But they are still dead to me. Still waiting for a main Pokemon series game that comes even a tiny bit close to the visuals of FFVII. I'm waiting nearly 20 years now. :(
Oh dear, looks like another moron fell for this "plug and play" console by "Sega" that isn't actually made by Sega, had he done any research whatsoever, which makes it a pointless and misinformed article. Well done overlord.
