My small rental place has Resistance 3 and Deal Island. I ended up renting Dead Island yesterday cause I'm buying R3 anyway and don't really wanna spoil it lol.
Anyway, I'm a few hours into Dead Island and i gotta say, it's super boring. The first hour was really slow, but i expected it to pick up in a bit.
Then the next hour was the same thing.
Im not sure how many hours in i am (probably about 5), but its still boring as hell. Stupid...

Shinobi on the PS2 was an amazing game. Once i bought my new PS2 (My 60GB PS3 broke), one of the first few games i replayed was Shinobi. Such a fun game. >.>

By your logic, split screen gaming requires 2 times the processing power.
Let's take Wipeout HD. It runs at a solid 60fps when in 2D mode. Play it in 3D, and it's 30fps. Same with Killzone, Stardust, etc.
The PS3's 3D is the exact same as a PC's 3D, just at a slower fps for obvious reasons. How the hell do you even 'fake' 3D? Its just looking at the...
I really like the design and colour scheme. It wouldn't really make any practical sense in real life though. The glow from the light of the system would bug me so much while playing games or watching movies in the dark. Actually, so would the controller. And why is there a handle at the top of the system? lol it could be a lot smaller if that handle wasn't there. And the controller, If you wanna rest your fingers on L1 and R1 (im assuming the orange buttons on the sides are L1 and R1)...
Agreed. Though, i still love me some online in Resistance Retribution and Motorstorm Arctic Edge, i can see why somebody would to buy the wifi-free version of the PSP for 99 dollars. If you want Minis or downloadable games or anything else from the Playstation Store you can just connect it to MediaGo on the computer, or the PS3, and download whatever you want. It wasn't very long ago that the PSP didn't even have a Playstation Store. I'd be more concerned about losing the Internet...

In all honesty, none of the features should be free. Why exactly should Sony have to pay to host Cloud servers for you to back up your saves to, for free? They already have your money from your PS3 purchase. All of these extra features (most of which are free) are exactly that- extra features.
It's incredibly awesome that we dont need to pay for the ability to watch 3D bluray movies and whatnot. It really is.

tbh, i don't really care if Resistance stops. I love the multiplayer, and the single player for Resistance. ...but i think Insomniac could do better with a whole new UP.
Either way though, i definitely don't want Ratchet and Clank to ever stop coming out. Though, All 4 One sort of worries me that it maybe won't be as good as the others... i still want more story-based single player adventures from Insomniac. =D

Scroll down fast through all your PSN games and the text and icons do not load until you stop scrolling. In-Game XMB is also slow, and most features can't be used and instead just say "To perform this operation, you must quit the game. Do you want to quit the game now?"
