Im really excited for this game, but the hype around the new Yakuza engine doesn't really get me excited. Seriously, these pictures still look like an old, outdated game from 2007. 2D trees and plants, shadows that look like staircases, strange facial expressions, etc.
I know Yakuza has never exactly been about graphics but, i guess i expected more from a new engine?

Well some games are more story-based than "SHOOT EVERYONE". The Darkness was the one of the most depressing games i've ever played. I beat it so many times its ridiculous.
I think you should give it another chance and go into it with an open mind and not "I wanna tear people in half with demon arms". I promise you'll like it.

I agree that you can tell what a game will look like, generally, with 360p video. But he said:

Which is completely wrong. If you watch a blu-ray on a standard def TV, it will look the exact same as a DVD on a standard def TV.

Seriously, i was so disappointed to see that the PC version had no spilt screen. Im not playing L4D on my own, and my friends dont have gaming PCs. I can connect 4 controllers to the PC. A few games support it.

Judging from that video this game needs a LOT more work. It looks so clunky. I don't even think they should be showing it. Clipping issues, weightless physics, flat textures (especially hair), and the awkward aiming.
