I think it's just that they've showed some lame parts of the game. The multiplayer footage they showed was not impressive in the slightest, and the E3 footage didn't exactly 'wow' me either. They should have started with an epic trailer, showing enormous boss fights and some kills with epic music in the background. Then, later on announced the co-op and showed standard stages.

I think his point is that a 2D mario game isn't selling the 'idea' of the system. It's not showing us the potential of the hardware, it not showing us anything that couldn't be done on the Wii.

Because Heavenly Sword was an amazing game with incredibly high production values and a great plot and some of the best voice acting i've ever heard in a game as well as a very innovative take on the hack and slash genre.

No they didn't. The PSP2000 was slimmer and had more features, such as added RAM, Skype, etc. The PSP3000 was even skinnier and added a better screen, a built-in-microphone, and even more RAM. There's lots of good songs in video games today. Obviously nothing is gonna be quite as catchy as an old NES MIDI song, but that's because those were looping 30-second songs that got jammed into your mind. They didn't change to fit the game or do anything to make it epic, sad, or any other emotions that sometimes require music to create.

I've got it. It has some issues.
It doesnt actually do 240hz unless its in 3D. You cant use any CineMotion or MotionFlow. If you disconnect the source from the TV it turns off in about 3 seconds. It's ridiculous because you cant switch inputs and then turn your second device on. They all (all of them...) have a problem of black flickering every once in a while if two devices are connected. The TV will turn off and then 2 seconds later turn back on.
