This is a big issue for me and I am still undecided whether I will buy a PS4 because of it despite already being a PS+ member for almost a year now and there is no denying the amount of value I have had from it has been quite staggering, Geikai and the fact that you are not blocked from Netflix etc makes paying for online a less bitter pill but it is not something I'm happy about.
Having said that Sony had little option than to start charging for online, the xbox owners h...
I don't know about bigger guns but they certainly have bigger balls bringing out a machine with so many restrictions.
The trouble is having bigger balls makes it's harder for the consumer to to miss!!!
OOOOH I can feel the pain coming their way.
LOL at the disagrees.
are you people really saying a 20 to 1 difference isn't big?
Thats huge!!!!!
OMG, honestly reading that I thought it was someone taking the piss, then I realised it really was a M$ site.
M$ what are you thinking?
LOL that was funny.
Despite all the DRM and other crap you still wanted one?
It took them actually stopping you being able to use it in your country before you decided against it,
WOW just WOW
Sorry just noticed the Sarcasm, but seriously anyone interested in this sorry excuse for a console wants their heads examining.
Minor restrictions LOL,
Only you foxgod would call them minor but even if they were which they certainly are not, why would you be happy to be restricted?
The question is are you a Fanboy or on M$ payroll? I'm going for the latter.
M$ is not a company that has gaming at its heart, it is an ends to a means they want to control the living room and do not care what it takes to do so.
Unfortunately they have become arrogant and totally lost touch with what console gaming is about and for some reason thought their usual spin, advertising and a few games would be enough for users to just accept any anti consumer nonsense they put forward, thankfully it seems most gamers seem to have demanded better apart fro...
M$ are also offering a DRM infested 24 hour check in with a kinect that has to be plugged in
Anyone buying into this crap truly are blind to the damage they are doing.
LOL Neverending, you trying to get some bubbles back?
Your not having a good day are you LOL
Anyone thinking Neverending is not trolling just have a look at his comments list,
The word fanboy has never been so fitting oh and dilusional works too lol.
Death I only buy games new and don't trade if publishers try to control how I use my purchase they will see non of my money, surely i'm the sort of customer they would want to keep.
What a stupid argument of course 3rd party developers can do what they like with their software, if they want to put in some kind of copy protection that is their right just like it will be my right not to buy it.
That is very different to what M$ are doing and it would be a huge mistake for gamers to give M$ that sort of control over your gaming.
Sony could have kept online free and sold the virtues of Geikai and playstation plus, it would have been more than enough incentive for most gamers.
There are a lot of good reasons to be part of Sonys online service, but being forced into it for online leaves a very bitter taste.
Having said that What M$ is trying to pull is being made to look absolutely awful in comparison.
Wicked I accept it will be great value I have been a plus member and have never regretted it, but handing over my internet access for games is not needed, it is a huge problem for me, I have no doubt the playstation will be a great success but not at the cost of my internet.
Maybe I will buy it and forget about online.
I'm a plus member and can't imagine not being with all the goodness it offers but this is exactly why I have been annoyed at xbox owners, I have always said it was the thin end of the wedge and opens the door for other companies to follow suit, the news of no DRM is huge though but I will have to think long and hard if I am going to support this, you didn't need to do it Sony.
The M$ offering was like an appetiser, I'm ready for the main course, bring it on Sony.
$499, still forced to pay for online (even though thats what you pay your service provider for) with DRM and the rest of the crap M$ is peddling..........
Yeah a bargain lol.
sorry abzdine I pressed disagree instead of agree, I will offer a well said bubble to make up for it,
Hope this helps.

Either way Getting Drive Club free with PS+ is a good move by Sony, this game is going to be big.
