That's a 42000% increase in development costs on regular Wii games! How will indie Wii games cope?

Looks like Ninja Gaiden 2 is indeed multiplatform.
They'd be pleased with the first month shipments of NGS on PS3.

Guess there's no NG2 at E3 then. This is just blow after blow to MS fanboys. No price cut, no NG2, certainly not exclusive, no Gears 2, what the hell have they got to look forward to MS? Throw them a bone!

From the last paragraph of the article, not from that sh***y iSupply site:

"Diode Supplies

Sony can cut prices because the company has fixed production problems with a diode used in the PlayStation 3's Blu-ray disk player, said Tretton, who is based in Foster City, California. He declined to discuss costs for the console.

@@@@@@@@@@@Clearing up the trouble made PlayStation 3 profitable several months ago, giving the company room to cut prices,...

No more failures for 360s on the shelves by fall then.

NOTE: I wasn't aware there was a 45nm process after 65nm. Wonder when Sony will hit it, since they hit 65nm within 5 months of release, and MS is predicted to do it next year.

They're completely right. Wii owners are waiting for the same experiences they've had on Gamecube, only with worse graphics and tacked on controls.
Oh, and more 3rd party support, only it'll be significantly worse in quality, because sh** sells on Wii, so devs will take advantage of that.

On PS3 and 360, your game needs to be good to sell big and make back what you put in. Wii devs can pop in a few pennies and get back millions for the crap they put on Wii, because the a...

That's what you get for rushing to market. I remember pathetic arguments saying MS didn't rush at all. Well, looks like Xbots were wrong again.

What an amazing turnaround in mindshare at the very least. Let's see if this translates into more sales for Sony, because it sure as hell translated into plummeting Xbox 360 sales.

My hopes are price cut, but MCV says it may be value related. I think they're just predicting.

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/2...

The URL's a bit misleading...the article doesn't confirm there's no price drop planned, just speculation. However it may be the same situation as with Sony's President. "No price drop currently planned" BAM Price drop official the next day/2 d...

What can Ntards brag about? Big sales? Cool.
Can you play sales? No?
Will sales lead to better games? Not necessarily.
Developers are shifting resources, but crap sells on Wii (see: every single game that isn't from Gamecube). They'll make crap. It'll sell to the majority audience, i.e. the non-gamers

Wii will not get the Kingdom Hearts, the Resident Evils, the Final Fantasies of this world. It'll get the sh***y spin-offs. Ntards will defend it. PS360 will...

Limited Edition
Appearance of Bundle
No new features

20GB actually lacked Wi-fi and card readers, which, while people may not want, still makes it almost irreparably inferior. (I think you can add them, but not everyone is up for that)

If Limited like it says on the box, no worries, there's a plan behind this and all PS3s/the one remaining PS3 will be 500 or lower by the end of this year. There's a lot of options, some better than others, but they a...

The box says limited edition, right?
This PS3 is definitely making profit, and its sales, if limited, are intended to be at sell-out levels to balance any price cut. The latest reports say PS3 was profitable 3 months ago. (Probably not by much) 100 price cut and they might still be profitable, now to reach mass levels 399 is much better.

By using 80GB limited sales, they can balance out another price cut this year to 399 and maintain 5% profitability they intended. I see...

420 US for the 20GB, which is apparently a tard pack even for the Japanese, and 500 for the 60GB. It needs games that appeal to Japanese for sales to kickstart. And probably more cuts to prices.

That was just to catch your attention, though you are wrong

Sony announced it first, and if there was any plan of an MS price cut, it would have been announced in advance to retailers, meaning it would have appeared in the flyers.

Here's the deal: Xbots insist MS has had a price cut planned, and would therefore not have been affected by RROD warranties. However, if this was the case, then the price cut would be in the flyers. It is not.

If they did...

But that still means Tecmo gets the sales, and 500k is definitely achievable if the launch period was 450k. That also means Ninja Gaiden 2 on PS3 confirmed.

Yes Xbots, it means 360 is better because of more dev time (Oblivion) but also because it uses version C of the arcade software, instead of version B like VF5 for PS3.

A game which began on PS3 will obviously be superior to 360 if only because of the vastly superior hardware. Watch Burnout and Haze =) Or hell, watch HS, Uncharted, R&C, Lair etc. All much more impressive than anything on 360 so far.

Haze is shaping up to be AAA - the denial here is priceless. ...

Elite is not outselling PS3, not by itself. And it could, as I said - it's the main attraction to 360 potentials (the hardcore), if it were in steady supply. As of now, people are waiting and the 400 model loses sales as people wait.

3-4 million is absolutely nothing, especially considering its 8 months from release and almost 2 years from 360's release mainly unopposed.
PS2 had a lead of 25 million. That's insurmountable. Even Wii won't make it that far, one reason is P...
