"The difference between Xbox series S and Xbox one x or PS4 pro isn't that big "

This statement is incorrect on a number of levels.

Having an SSD vs not having one is a big difference the GPU and RAM maybe within shouting distance of each other but the storage mediums used are very far from each other.

"it’s also one made about a Chinese protagonist by a team with virtually no Chinese people on staff. Stories about people should be made with deep involvement from those same people. I do think that this game is more about the films than the people, and that it’s from a good place – this isn’t a point that’s affecting the review and score "

Then why even bring it up? if it doesn't effect anything why even mention it at all.

"VRR is unstandardized and full of issues."

This is not true VRR is a standard and that is apart of HDMI 2.1 subset if your implementing VRR it has to be the 2.1 standards that are already set.

"There are no 1440p TVs only monitors so making devs support that resolution for 1% of the user base is an unnecessary burden. "

No dev is forced too support it but is an option if they want too.

"Alot of my Friends who owns Xbox still like to buy games. "

Why do people keep saying this like having gamepass keeps you from buying a game you can still buy it if you have gamepass.

You care since you commented on it and you, you just knocked the game.

Where in a world wide chip shortage Nintendo would be stupid to try and release something now or even give a release date.

Stock of new consoles is thin already during normal times imagine had bad it would be now.

Have this on PC and while not the best game was definitely worth the $15 I paid. Might pick this back up on console if not more then $20.

@Christopher so it is Sony and their neglect of back end infrastructure because they should be supported natively, IE built into the system and not something a dev has to worry about.

Average users isn't also funding the development and building of the hardware as well as buying these parts in massive bulk.

Yes you can't build something anywhere close for $499 you also didn't pay to have millions of these built at the same time.

This is based off of the official game Xbox game page of which the information comes from the developer.

So I would suspect they would at least have an idea of how big they expect it too be.

Teraflops is only truly comparable across the same graphic card generation and even then only paints part of the picture.

The vastly improved CPU and SSD is whats going to set this console generation apart.

Plus games coming out now and most in 2022 are made using last generation engines with some tweaks. We wont get truly next generation games until late 2022 especially when they finally leave last generation behind completely.

MS said no first party next gen only games they never said anything about third party games.

Third party devs are still free to due as they please.

"I know what I am talking about. DDR4 or 6 is still slow"

Obviously not if you call 448 GB/sec of bandwidth slow that is how fast the DDR6 is in the PS5.

Traditional 7200 RPM HDD: 160 MB/s
SATA III SSD: 600 MB/s
PCIe Gen 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD: 3500MB/s Sqq. reads – 3300MB/s Seq. writes
PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe m.2 SSD: 7000MB/s Seq. reads – 5000MB/s Seq. writes

This doesn't change the # of cards available just what flavor they come in.
For example

If every silicon sheet gives a 100 cards and those cards broke done to 32/33 of each type with a few duds.

Then now they will break down to 24/25 of each with a few duds.

No it wont if we stayed with HDD then yes that would become the norm as an HDD can't feed data fast enough and would need a larger RAM pool to preload data onto.

Moving everything over to an SSD keeps games from needing to double or even triple the RAM in some case specifically because an SSD is that much faster and RAM has top preload less because ti can pull it and feed it faster to the GPU then an HDD could.

PS5 is changing nothing even with its fa...

"why not? You realize the amount of memory is more beneficial than the hdd type. Games dont run from the drive. Tgey run from memory. So having a big pool of RAM can habe better results that using an ssd."

Games run from memory specifically because the HDD is not fast enough and would severally bottleneck the GPU as it run of game data to process.

With games getting bigger and more complex we can do 1 of 2 things up t...

When are you going to stop blaming those just trying to survive and start blaming the company that hires them.

Immigrants didn't send your job overseas wall street did and you continue to let them.

Joy-Cons and other controllers connect VIA Bluetooth to the switch. It's why with a little effort you can use them on a PC also. They have had form day one just blocked for audio devices.
