From the interview this is from:
"A few of us here at Konami, myself included, were big fans of Dexter and really enjoyed the music from that series, so needless to say Dan was at the top of our short list"
So because you liked a guy's music you automatically assumed it would work with an entirely different franchise and medium? Does anyone else see a problem here?
EA CEO: Your game too good, needs more stupid
Bioware: What? But sir, we-
EA CEO: NEEDS MORE STUPID SO SELL MORE MY LOGIC IS FLAWLESS
I much prefer single player. At least AI won't grief you intentionally.
If you ask me Nintendo have painted themselves into a corner with the Wii- where can you go from there? How can you recapture the interest of a fickle casual audience who have no loyalty other than to the hottest new craze?
PS3 Vesperia or Xillia please.
Some games feel designed with so many missable things the strategy guide should've been stapled to the box. Just try getting 100% on FFX-2 without a guide!
Oh, they will become major. But they'll never become good, not when there's more money in effortless garbage like Farmville.
Ewww, Zynga. A fate worst than Activision.
Has nobody bothered reading the original article? It clearly said no more single player ONLY games.
I hope these rubbish gimmick controllers won't replace the tried and tried gamepads. It's already been proven that these new controllers can't work with many of the existing genres.
I'd go as far as to say that this was Square's last decent original IP. We need more of this and less sequels, spinoffs and remakes.
A "casual" fighter? Have you ever played the original Mortal Kombat? Some of the fights I swear the AI knew what you were going to attack with before you did.
Bring back planetary exploration! The mining minigame wasn't nearly as fun.
And nothing of value was lost.
Classic Sonic: Man, I really let myself go.
Yeah, this is an open world action game. I imagine it'll have the character progression of an RPG though.
Looks like the trolls...
*puts on sunglasses*
...got trolled.
Honestly, while this looks like fun, I think it's relying too heavily on nostalgia for a game that hasn't aged nearly as well as other FPS games from that period (Half Life for example)
Plagiarizing indie titles is a new low.
"He can make it to the Water Temple, roughly halfway into Ocarina of Time’s sprawling adventure, with no help at all."
Ah, the Water Temple; the gordian knot that leaves gamers either too frustrated to continue or looking up walkthroughs.
Good luck to him, this bit may be the trickiest to overcome in the whole game.
