Did Resident Evil 5 even have any scary moments? As I recall it was more of a straight up shooter, which abandoned any moments of fear in favor of more action sequences.

If I were to make a character in a game I'd focus on making them realistic first, before deciding about their preferences and how that would impact on the game. Like Levine said, it's about portraying human gay characters, not two dimensional stereotypes.
