At least The Last Guardian got a trailer or two, I'm pretty certain the only thing we ever saw of Agent was the logo!
Doom articles decline in quality every generation, but increase in quantity.
He's powerful- that doesn't mean he can't be ignorant.
Don't worry, they'll start work on it after Versus- oh.
Sorry for the late reply, but in my opinion I don't think it's fair to dismiss everything as not being art when you yourself admit that you don't yet know what an art game is.
"But that's just flaccid. We don't know what an art game IS yet."
So you don't know what an art game is, but you feel qualified to say what it isn't.
The biggest problem for me with this article is that you never once mention a game that you consider to be art. You have no problem pointing to various games and decrying them as not being art, yet when it comes to mentioning a game you consider to be art you remain silent.
I hope the multiplayer is fun, I'm not quite sure about it yet.
Yeah, you'd have thought they had lost their jobs or something :/
Wind Waker HD definitely has my interest, I wish I could discover every island for the first time all over again.
He's an asset to the industry to be sure, but that doesn't mean I have to like him.
And I don't worship the PS3, nice assumption there.
He seems like a nice enough guy, but I've never liked his fanboyism. Don't want to develop for PS3? Fine, but why trash talk it? What good does that do? You're a big name in the industry, have a little restraint.
So in a way, until we know more this is the Schrödinger's cat of game success?
Poor guy, senility must be kicking in.
"Child molesters, child molesters everywhere!"
So trolling equals curiosity? You know what, there's nothing wrong with seeing if you'd drown in the example you gave! It's not trolling to want to see what the outcome is for not following the games instructions.
As if the writing was the sole thing that matters, he barely even touches on any other part of the game-he mentions combat for one sentence, and that's it.
He knew he'd get a huge number of supporters whether he went into detail on the game or not.
That's what this article strikes me as- it hasn't got any more substance than the many "pro" articles that didn't really go into the game in detail.
I think keeping it in the fridge could make for a hilarious prank.
Technically this series has always had something like an SMG in the Pulse Rifle.
If a studio buys the IP they are almost certainly going to use it, it wouldn't make sense to buy an IP only to put it on the shelf.
Personally I'm not very hyped for Ascension because, well, we've already had two prequels for this thing. I think a game addressing the aftermath of GOWIII would have been much more interesting.
