I beat em all in 2 days. I'm be played them all over 30 times each. Except 4 because I was in the real world when that came out. The Prometheans aren't as fun as the covies. Halo 1 is still my favourite.
The multiplayer is incredible. Single player is lacking severely though. Not up to halo standards.

They were all incredible. I still play them on MCC. Often in original graphics too. I prefer that look to the cartoony remaster.
I'm loving the multiplayer. It's worth the buy for that alone. The campaign was a HUGE let down. I really don't like where the story is going. Especially with the legendary ending.

Completely agree. 343 doesn't seem to understand the basic fundamentals of engaging writing. They literally have a universe to explain and they just...don't. At the very VERY least have a cutscene where chief and blue team are reunited. Explain it better and don't rely on Transmedia that very few people look into. But the problem here is there is literally NO explanation outside some dialogue that plays during combat so you end up not hearing what they sa...

Not really. Locke gets all the cool stuff. Chiefs basically just there. They really tried to push Locke in this game. I was hoping for the return of the chief but he's only in it for 3/15 levels.
It's the story itself. It sets up one of the most cliched stories in the books. I won't spoil it but it's just amateur writing. Things don't make sense and past characters are left in the dust and no introduction of "new" characters. They just...show up. I know who blue team is but most people won't.
The multiplayer does look fantastic however. I can't wait to try that.
As a halo fan I'd rate the campaign a 6/10.
He really bored me the whole way through. It's funny how I've been saying the campaign isn't good but got disagrees for it. Now that the reviews are rolling out the fanboys are all saying the single player doesn't matter. I mean give me a break. The campaign sucks just accept it. The multiplayer is looking fantastic and I think that is where they put all their focus.

Huge halo fan here. It's not even close to the best halo game. I've beaten it on legendary and the story was insulting especially if you're a fan of the original trilogy. They shove Locke down your throat. Just wait till you see. I have every halo game including PC and consoles. Read the books and have the statues. I hated the campaign.
Haven't had the chance to play multiplayer yet as the public servers aren't up yet. I'm excited to play warzone.

It took me a few hours to like it. When I first played it I HATED it. The more I understood how the game worked the more I liked it. Then I destroyed everyone in the sky any time I got into a tie fighter
They weren't weak at all. You just had to know how to use them. I was frequently going over 30 kills with Vader. Even blew up an xwing somehow.
Probably about $80 off a new console.
Halo CE is still the best campaign
