I am actually pleased with these lawsuits leveled against EA, because that publisher is destroying DICE and if this trend continues (I here yearly Battlefield games are incoming, then the beloved franchise will go down the toilet hole.
I hope EA gets sued for tens of millions -- so other publishers will know not to lie about their games profitability and readiness to be released just to inflate stock margins and then sellout with huge profits.
Haha. Sequelitis. Love that. On topic: Yes it will and that's because of the publishers, not developers.
Given a chance, developers would have already lead this industry to new heights of creativity, but these bloodsuckers such as EA and Activision only see the almighty dollar and nothing else, hence, gen 8 will suffer sequelitis like the generation before it.
Agreed with you, aiBreeze.
And the scandal continues to unfold. It serves them well, though. Greedy executives destroying a beloved franchise for quick gain, hoping not to get caught.
I hope this lawsuit prevails and EA is forced to pay tens of millions for the lies, forgery and deception.
It's no wonder EA is persistently voted WORST company in the U.S.
PlayStation passion.
Yes, I would.
Because it's cheaper, more powerful and has more exclusives incoming.
It's also the hottest piece of tech now.
Loving my PS4!
When I bought my PS4 at launch, I knew that my investment was not only for the here and now, but for the longterm.
Let's not forget that Sony has the most studios in the games industry - more than any other developer, and has THE best developers anywhere, including the legendary Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, Santa Monica and Sucker Punch amongst others.
Surely there are some epic games incoming! Combined that with PS4 being the most powerful console and co...
Truth we already knew. But it's great to hear it from an official source.
It also makes Major Nelson's lies look even more blatant. How Xbox fans don't see through this spin is beyond me...
But whatever, the King has returned. As ever, watch your throne.
It's about time home consoles break into the mammoth Chinese market.
This could only expand the games industry. Great news if true.
Edit: Oh, PS3 related.
Cool.
It's not only Call of Duty, but Battlefield, Homefront, Medal of Honor and almost all other modern day military shooters...
But that shouldn't be a problem, as movies do it all the game, and parents and teachers should be responsible for teaching children truth and history.
We're now mixing good ole entertainment with real life events like Fox News....
Kotaku isn't usually wrong at all. They've broke many massive stories that winded up being real.
Guys seriously, something is wrong with Microsoft numbers. If you look at the anecdotal evidence, plus the wide gulf between PS4 and Xbox One software sales, you'l realize that Sony's console is selling way more units than Xbox One...
And also that Microsoft, contrary to what it said, hasn't sold 2 million Xbox Ones...
This was just talk to please investors.
People are trying to make it seems like there's such high demand for Xbox One, when you can practically walk into any store and pick up One.
lol
Yeah. Bad move in so many ways. If it were a PS4 launch title - not only would it helped move systems, it would also bolster Sony's weak launch title.
People are tired of current gen. Sony should have made this a PS4 launch title.
Sony really made a mistake in releasing this on PS3 and not the PlayStation 4. It would have been a system seller.
If it has one area I believe they've been a bit weak in terms of PS4 strategy, it's with the launch titles.
This would have gone up against Forza 4 and easily defeat it.
EA really think they're the pinnacle of gaming, don't they?
Shut up and fix the broken mess that is BF4 and then we can talk.
Sony will sell all the PS4s that it can produce. The demand for this thing is unbelievable.
