Excellent work by Sony. This proves that you should always make a games machine with the gamer in mind FIRST, and not the other way around.
That's why PS4 is so much more powerful than Xbox One. That's why it's very easy to develop for. That's why indie developers are finding success on it, and that's why it's the leader in sales, around the world -- even in former Xbox strongholds: U.S. and U.K.
Bring me that new experience, SSM. New IP and later in the generation a God of War game and I'll be happy!

Don't know why people getting all worked up about this. First you'll have a companion (Titan) with every player, which brings the player count to 24, then you have artificial intelligence (AI) which are not bots but actually living soldiers that do other things all at the same time, bringing the player count to 30+.'
People need to experience the game before judging, is my opinion.
GameStop will collapse eventually with physical media. It still has a few more years left, though.
Sony gets the gamer, that's one of the main reasons why.
The company has pulled off one of the most impressive launches of any product in any industry, and gamers are simply rewarding them for it.
That's apart from the obvious advantages, too:

2: It's more powerful
3: Multiplatform games look and run better on PS4

Xbones are everywhere. There's not lack of availability. It's a myth.
Most dramatic year in gaming ever. Microsoft was chastised, Sony rewarded and Nintendo relegated.
Next year should bring new experiences as developers get a handle of the new consoles.
