Microsoft had years to make up its DRM policies that would have no benefit to its fanbase. It also neglected the months of rumors that lead to negative feedback - deciding to push this through regardless. Then, when MS realized that consoles weren't being preordered, it changed it's mind.

The simple is no. They will implement DRM again. Remember, Microsoft never said that they wouldn't implement this again... People are too trusting.

Oh you can have your DRM, and play by yourself. Believe me,the best decision Microsoft made was to abandon DRM, or else Xbox One would have become the greatest console flop of all time. If MS isn't careful, there is still a chance that the console might fail in epic fashion.
Gamers, just think for a minute of how Sony Santa Monica and Naughty Dog's PS4 games will look. Think about that for a while....

Microsoft lied. It was a ploy to distract gamers from the Xbox One's DRM issues. Now we're hearing that all the buzz was for nothing. Just glorified demos. For shame.
And that's why Sony is a better games company. They have the gamers in mind, and that's a good thing. This means I can chat with my friends who don't have PS Plus. It also means they feel engaged with PSN, as compared to those with Xbox Live Silver...
