Well said, Excalibur.
Shu has a great sense of humor. And for those who'll inevitably try and view this in a negative light, Shu makes fun of PlayStation mishaps, too.
Good stuff.
"What do you have to say to all the journos disregarding PS4's power over Xbox One?"
"And what's your take on these same journos claiming that gamers won't be able to see the difference?"
These are the two questions I'd love to ask Cerny-san.
I actually can't believe how bad it's become. Why are they downplaying this so much?
Why us Mark Rubin on various sites being an Xbox One apologist?
What the hell is going on here?
We've already spotted the difference. PS4 looks better. It's not hard to see at all.
You might as well have said: Shooters, Microtransactions, as BF4 and other top shooters have been doing the same.
In essence he's saying PS4 is more powerful, easier to developer for, and the little time of releasing a game on so many platforms, they simply couldn't get more out of the difficult architect of the Xbox One -- most notably the ESRAM bottlenecks, to make it run at a higher resolution.
Question is, if a developer like Infinity Ward, a studio I'm sure received dev kits way before other studios because of Call of Duty, cannot get COD: Ghosts at 1080p on Xbox One but...
It sure does. In more ways than one.
So this is what we've come to? One company tries to rape gamers with DRM policies where gamers wouldn't be able to loan or gift games to their friends. That same company said, (because their console would need to be always connected to the internet to work) to get an Xbox 360 if your internet internet connection isn't good enough.
Region-blocked the console, and disregarded gamers at their official reveal in May with TV TV TV TV TV TV nonsense. That company is Mic...
Call of Duty: Ghosts, now Battlefield 4 remote play with Vita confirmed.
Now's the best time to get Sony's shiny handheld.
Fretting to leave industry because you didn't get a PS4 pre-launch: Adam Sessler.
Catching a hissy fit because Sony didn't send you a PS4: Annoyed gamer.
And they call themselves journalists?
Journalists should rebuke companies who offer them free swag, because they should want to stay away from any bias, every time.
But the games industry don't have real journalists. What we have are a bunch of enthusiasts who si...
Wishing him all the best in his next endeavors. Thanks for your work at PlayStation!
launch bugs. I hate them. Hopefully DICE will sort this soon. I'm sure they will.
We would expect him to say nothing else. If it's indeed as the rumors say, would Albert say so? No. So I cannot take his word on anything, and I say that respectfully.
Because at the end of the day, the man's an MS employee -- and hence PR mouthpiece.
Love you Albert, but I'll never expect you to say nothing bad about the company that feeds you....
Your opinion can't be taken seriously on such matters.
It is. Soon we'll be in 2014, 720 gaming in such a modern world, on a games console that will be around for the better part of ten years, and a console that's sold at $100 higher than it's more powerful, 1080p capable competitor, is simply unacceptable, and you'd be blind to think otherwise.
That would be good. That would really help the console's flailing reputation, as gamers are seemingly migrating Xbox One in droves...
That would be a great feature to keep those who are already there from running away, and potentially grab some new people in.
But here's the real question: WHEN is this going to happen? And why are we only hearing about it now?
Edit: It's a functionality Microsoft would love to implement, "One da...
Good that they admitted to this, but the way they've been covering Xbox One recently, going to hell and back to defend the console's weaker architect as compared to PS4, doesn't give me much faith that this "mistake" wasn't intentional.
Come on guys look at this on Xbox One: http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
We should compare this to PS3 instead.
Whoa, look at the big difference in multiplayer.
The only overheating problem PS4 has right now is from preorders. It's the hottest videogame item anywhere.
