i'm confused, have any of you gamers played mass effect, uncharted?

i have both games and GTA IV. The 360 can do those graphics. let's not forget warhounds, and project offsets.

This is a bit silly. I remember seeing famitsu's most wanted, and it showed japanese gamers wanting it on ps3. The 360 entry wasn't even in the top 10, i don't even think they knew it was coming out. Timed exclusives, work when they're HUGE a$$ games, not when they're sub par FF's.
microsoft by the sounds of it have Star ocean, which is a good start. They need big jrpgs like that. Naturally dragonquest and FF would be the obvious next stops on their East asian conquest.

I'm glad i own both consoles, but tbh i wanted this to be a ps3 exclusive. I played mass effect on 360 and liked the idea of another space exploration game coming out on a system and could take advantage of the hard drive n blu ray space. I now mass effect was big n all, but still there were loading screens all over the place. Lol those infamous elevators, didnt bother me too much tbh.

I try to communicate objectively in these kind of arguments, but having finished IV i can't be objective.

San andreas wasn't just a bit better. it was TONS better.
people keep talking about "ambience", but i actually find myself disagreeing with that. As soon as you step into san andreas and you hear the hip hop intro and see the locale it all sorta comes together. "los santos" looks and feels like rundown LA.

the only similarities tend to be with the initial set up (bunch of peeps going out on an adventure)

I think you didnt think about the thing i said about trailers. A trailer can sell a game. No one really knew that much about gears and it sold like cr@ck due to advertising etc. new franchise sold tons.

We know as much about Last remnant as we do about FFXIII and many other games. Its just that not that many people care. To be blunt the game sighs generic every time I see it.

But then again I feel that way about this gen so far really. I've been waiting an age for alan wake, heavy rain, Mgs4, FFXIII, fable 2, Project offset and its getting tiring now.
