Questioned, yes. Condemned a priori, no.
Careful, you're getting dangerously close to the core of the issue. You might be marked for trolling.
@Sashamaz.
1) She isn't making porn.
2) I don't dispute that twitch has a right to ban her from streaming. I'm commenting on their reasons for doing so.
3) General comment: I find it hilarious that my comment below was flagged for trolling. N4G needs a more robust monitoring system for reports.
Haha.
Just calling it like it is. ;-)

(Even though they all have smartphones these days.)
Among the various opinion pieces that will be written about this, here are two summarized:
(1) Feminists should support this because Meg Turney is frequently objectified by her viewing audience.
(2) Feminists should oppose this because it inhibits Meg Turney's capacity to express her sexuality.
Ridiculously big month for gaming and for next-gen. It'll just be DAIII for me due to time constraints.
I HATED DAII when I first played it. One of the most disappointing games I've ever played. I invested a LOT of emotion in Origins and Awakening, and felt that II squandered ALL of it.
That said, I'm playing through the entire series again prior to DAIII's release (currently still in Origins). Will be going through Awakening and all DLC as well. So I'll be revisiting II pretty soon, and I think that I might come to like it's unique addition to the series th...
I'm supposed to have 75/75, but Verizon's de facto service is TERRIBLE in Arlington.
Damn, that's nice. I can definitely see the improvement. But I won't buy this version until the final version releases with everything and is on sale.
It's not about anyone's right to express an opinion. It's about the deliberate manipulation of opinion, outright lying, and the deliberate mischaracterization of those she disagrees with.
The only reasons that are relevant to the next-gen version are 1 and 2. 1 is not worth a re-buy on its own. 2 is irrelevant.
1 backed up by other graphical and processing advances, however, gives a reason - but it's only 1 reason.
O lost youth, how I miss thee.
“I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect.”
What. The. Hell?
I can't wait to see the context for this comment!
What a painfully, painfully bad list!
A comma is a must in the sentence. Do you mean:
1) Yeah baby, sex is Always nice...
or
2) Yeah, baby sex is Always nice...

Yup. To accept the legitimacy of the movement is to admit the propriety of the question. No - or very few - journalists want to open that door.
Hence the endless stream of articles attacking the movement for its sexism, immorality, and so on. Same tactics used in politics - divert the audience from the question by means of emotional and moral manipulation.
Incredible how much leverage people can get from such empty concepts as 'sexism' and 'raci...
Are any 'gamers on the street' really surprised that gaming journalists are attacking a movement directed against gaming journalists?
Well said.
