I agree with a lot of your points.

I was cautiously optimistic about MS's presentation. It started off very boring IMO with the beatles and tony hawk... then after he announced that the rest were exclusives, it went uphill very quickly for me.

Crackdown 2 was my favorite part of the presentation. The trailer was very well-made IMO. Looking forward to more info.

Alan Wake is my most anticipated game this gen.. I thought the gameplay clip was awesome.

GoW2 actually didn't sell as well as Uncharted, Resistance, Motorstorm, and LBP, so yeah....

Couldn't agree more. A lot of good things happened for gamers today, but sadly it's being overshadowed by stupid fanboy bs. A Metal Gear game is always good news, as long as it's not on the iPhone =P

Wonder why Mass Effect 2 or Lost Planet 2 weren't shown.

Honestly I didn't like Raiden, but I understand why a lot of people do like him... and the prospect of him starring in his own action game sounds great.

Off the top, Halo: ODST, Splinter Cell and Forza... I might be missing something, but Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Crackdown 2 are definitely not going to be out this year.

Because if it was exclusive, they would've hammered "only on 360" into our brains.

Yeah, I don't think PS2 or Zune HD will get as much time as the other platforms from MS/Sony.

Zune HD will be pretty big, though.. but I don't see them spending as much time on it as 360.

PS2 will probably be pretty insignificant... some sales figures about the price drop, etc... PSP on the other hand will be pretty big, and will probably have almost as much time as the PS3.

I think 360 and PS3 will have about the same amount of time... PS3 may have a bi...

So MS should stop releasing successful games? They're successful for a reason.. there's nothing wrong with them pumping out Gears and Halo games if they're enjoyable.

Look at insomniac.. should they stop making R&C every two years because some 360 fanboys say they need to do something new?

I'm glad people are excited about a game... but telling other people not to be excited about a different game is just dumb.

I watched the beta on giantbomb (I think), and it looks very slick.

That wouldn't blow minds cause Crackdown didn't get the recognition it deserved... but I'd be pumped.
