"Gamesradar preferred it to Infamous"
A gamesradar reviewer preferred prototype's action over infamous' IIRC.. there's a difference. It's like someone saying they prefer God of War's action to Gear of War's action... the games are completely different, so comparing them is totally subjective.
Wow, what were they expecting if MS's conference left them disappointed? I could understand if they said something like "Milo disappointed me", but the conference was solid as a rock.
Off the top, MS had Shadow Complex, that free racing avatar game, and Alan Wake. Milo doesn't count as a game IMO.
It doesn't matter that he watched it before it was supposed to be announced, it's the fact that sev took away one of Sony's E3 megatons to enlarge his e-peen. That's pretty damn selfish.
But really, whoever is leaking this info is the one to blame.
There's also people getting shot around the world... should guns be banned from games, too?
Sony did pitch something like this over 3 years ago... it was called the playstation eye. It has a camera and microphone and is capable of tracking in 3d spaces and voice recognition.
It better. (if it's ready)
Actually, it looks like Forza 3 was playable. Strange it didn't get a medal.
Yeah, they were really arrogant this e3.
Still looking forward to Forza 3, though.
I don't think Forza or AW were playable.
But then again, I don't think Metroid was playable, either... but it got a gold. hmmm
Natal is just two cameras and an array of microphones. It doesn't sense anything or have voice recognition by itself, they will try to program that in.
GT4 is one point lower on metacritic than Forza 2... is the line between AAA and AA that thin?
This may shock you, but not everyone likes the same games.
Why was Uncharted 2 best of show but just a runner up for best action game? =P
I said "onLive", not XBL. onLive is that service that will allow you to game without having a system. Everyone thought it would come out in a few months, be affordable, and change the gaming industry forever. Then a few weeks later after people actually thought about it, they stopped talking about it.
Nobody would honestly say XBL didn't change gaming.
People are jumping onto Natal like they jumped onto onLive when it was first announced... then everyone realized it's probably a bit early to start saying it will change gaming forever.
Give them a year and wait until they show off a more fleshed out version at next E3 or CES and allow everyone to try it with applications like the ones shown in that montage.
Yeah, that's what I thought when they showed that flacid lightsaber during the demo.
Why can't games just be fun? A fun large-scale FPS would be a new experience for console gamers. I'm cautiously optimistic for MAG, just cause I'm tired of FPSs, and I prefer playing them on my PC. If they pull it off and it's fun, I'll play it.
MAG isn't the prettiest game, but it looks nothing like CS.
It's past his bedtime, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow.
