well as Sony is a japanese company, they can't possibly show everything in the US at E3. They got to hold some games for the Tokyo Game Show, so people should not think that what was shown at E3 is the only news we'll hear from Sony. I'm pretty sure we'll see the last guardian, FFXIII versus and many other games at TGS

I think one of the reasons I don't do as much anymore is that the most of the time the hero (protagonist) is to young, secondly western RPG's are darker than its japanese counterpart (not only the color pallet often used is different, but how the stories are told, the enemies you face (how ridiculous would it look if you had to battle a drop of water or a cactus in a western rpg?, while when I was a kid the monsters in...

What I fear is another GTA4 case, where everyone raved on the game, only for us to find out it was good but not as great as those reviewers told us. So in the end we where left a bit disappointed, because we expected much more?

Shooting in a game doesnt automatically mean the game core genre is a shooter.

just because there is a shooting mechanism, it doesn't make a game a shooter.
there is for instance an action adventure shooter, where both the action adventure and the shooter part are a very important selling points of the game, and an action adventure shooter where the most important aspect of the game is the action adventure, where the shooter part is not put forward. Record of Agarest War is big. Got this from the playstation blog:
"The game itself is only about 9 gigs, but the file you download from PSN is a sort of install file, and it basically installs the game from itself to your hard drive. That means you need 18 gigs to install the game, but once it’s installed, that initial install file is deleted, which means the game will only take up around 9 gigs after it’s installed."
So a whooping 9gigs to download. If I understand well...
do you really think anyone will make a game taking 25Gb of space on a Blu-ray and instead put it to download on PSN.
Do you have any idea how long it will take to download it, and do you realize that you'll need a humongous amount of HDD space if you think of downloading other such games.
You could still get great games from PSN, but there will always be a clear difference between disc-based games and downloadable ones

why would they clash??? its not as if both games will be on both platforms. If they did then yeah they would clash but its not the case here....
David Cage did say that in the beginning he wanted to make heavy rain with motion cotrols (with the ps eye)... So who knows maybe he would have succeded (be it with move, or natal or any other motion control)

Why would anyone compare U2 with Gears? They don't belong to the same genre. One is an action adventure, and the other is an action (shooter) game. This is just an article to have fanboys from both consoles 'fight' each other. Just stupid

I agree. I don't have any money left to buy this game but I know I will! I love the franchise (got all the other games) so I won't miss out on this one, only I'll buy it in a couple of months, or ask it for Christmas.
