Being a 360 owner, I see this optimistically. Microsoft will do numerous things to increase the value of their box to kick themselves (or at least try to) back into first place.
I see LIVE getting cheaper, potentially a lot better hardware, probably many new features... and Natal.
Yeah... Bungie is pretty bad at 'boss' fights. I was expecting a gravemind boss fight on the level 'the covenant', but the tentacles just retreated down. It made no sense.
Hunters should be more of a challenge to make them worthy of being bosses.
Hopefully an in-engine reach trailer. I hate pre-rendered trailers.
Maybe we'll find out what this Halo Reach thing is all about.
True. In terms of campaign, I always found Halo to be the most replayable. The shooting's always quite fun, and double the fun when with a friend or two.
If it's short, I hope it's truly short and sweet. 9.5/10 and 9/10 looks pretty good. Suspicious though... I thought it would be around an 8.5/10.
It sucks how Bungie didn't take the extra two months to refine the game. ODST was just waiting on the shelves racking up pre-orders.
If it's true that the majority of the Bungie team is working on Halo Reach, it better as hell over-deliver.
But I'll buy it anyways.
Very high or very low...
I'm expecting an in-between review of about 8.5
+Compelling storyline that makes you care about characters
+Sadie's story
+Firefight puts a nice spin on things that makes it one of the best co-op experiences out there
-bummer about the lack of matchmaking
-short flashback missions
-that ending.
Well, that's my prediction.
Honestly, if Microsoft designed an incredibly sexy interface on the 360 where you just use your hands and fingers to scroll through everything smoothly, I would get it. Period.
Minority Report in real life. Never thought it might come in my lifetime.
Why does this not have over 9000 degrees?
Well, to the point, this is an excellent vidoc. Answers every question I had on ODST and more.
A little off topic... but

This reviewer gave ODST a 2 out of 5. Again, I don't really trust little sites like wiispace, but it's slowly letting me down. It's still a first day buy for me though. Just don't get any worse! Please!
Official reviews to be out Saturday.
But Microsoft secured a nice line-up for 2010.
Crackdown 2.
Splinter Cell Conviction.
Halo Reach.
Alan Wake.
Fable 3.
Natal and a whole bunch of launch titles (expect about three big ones)
But I have to admit that the 2009 line-up is pretty sad. Only 2 true exclusives this year: Forza 3 and ODST.
But I am really looking forward to ODST.
It honestly sounded like he didn't really play the game. Did he check out the side story? Look at the art in detail? Really think about the story?
I don't know how people can write a review rushing through the campaign once.
There are many conflicting sides to Halo ODST. I'm going to judge for myself on the 22nd.
Yep, you're wrong. It's the Frosbite engine, developed by DICE themselves.
Lets keep the comments clean.
I'm on. Here's my ticket.
This doesn't sound like a very reliable source.
I watched one gameplay video (tried to stay away from spoilers) that takes place in the later half of the game, and I came out quite impressed. The environments have a new, fresh feel to it that haven't been seen in previous games before, and the storyline is simply a lot more engaging. My guess? ODST will get an average of 85-90/100.
whars de split screen? I don't believe it was in the first?
Yes, there's split screen. There are also some leaked split screen firefight vids on youtube.
Wow, that $100 price BS. I was hoping the price would drop so I won't have to use that giant LAN line from my living room to my gaming room.
