There are at least 5 1080p games on the PS3 and they are awesome in graphics...the Xbox 360 has no 1080p games...fact...and I am talking 1080 native..
Fact #2 is that the PS3 has a much better DVD upscaller to 1080p than the Xbox 360...this has been proven fact by many sources...
Now i agree with you than the Xbox 360 has a good upscaller for games. I agree 100 percent with this...

I acutally got mine on friday...but that PS Eye would not work with my system so i exchange it and got the second one and it worked!!

The PS Eye is high quality in the hardware...it is a solid piece of tech...You need good light for good images...it take pictures and video awesome with the eye create software. This simple software is totally awesome! It is so easy to use....Sony keeps added cool stuff to the PS3 every...
Demand for bluray and the PS3 is way up...look at amazon...look after november 2! The PS3 has not been out over a year yeat and they sold over 6 million units,,,aboiut to hit 10 million by end of year....and teh Xbox 360 has not hit 12 million yet after 2 years!!!
How Burnout Paradise, GTA4, Haze, and Assasins Creed were or are done.
Resistance Fall of Man 2 will be the next big game from this awesome developers...just think of what they can do with the engine now...steaming textures....maybe even 50 gb bluray........
They will have 100 GB disc next year...and the PS3 will ultimately give bluray the edge.....next year....Its all a mater of time...it will happen...its too bad the HD-DVD and bluray could not have solved their differences before the launch of both formats.....toshiba and sony do not hate each other...look they both developed the Cell processor...its Microsoft and Sony that hate each other....I think in the end toshiba and sony will compromise...and end the hd-dvd\bluray war....

Firmware 2.0 is still a rumor...we just have to sit back and wait...Sony knows everybody wants in game Xmb....we will get it...and we will get play tv in the states also next year...
I do not think so...look and Ratchet and Clank, warhawk, and Uncharted...it may have taken 2 years for these games...but they are totally awesome...Its all about the developers knowing their stuff and trying to use New state of the art hardware and software tools....remember the PS3 is totally different hardware compared to the Xbox 360 and wii...
For the price, bluray, wifi, HDMI 1.3a, and Cell processor...you can not go wrong.....it is worth it to play MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone 2, and burnout paradise....and of course warhawk!
So the worlds will be much bigger and the game will get better and bigger. This time next year, the warhawk will be huge, right now there are over 250,000 users in warhawk.
Why would you do it, when you could go down to Best buy and buy the movie for $24.99 and watch it right here, right now?
And the movie will last forever and it will not get deleted by accident from a hard drive crash... Nobody has a 30 meg download pipe yet....digital distribution will not happen till everybody has at least a 30 meg per sec download pipe...the most people have in the USA is about 10 megs avg...but most people are still on dial up...so how are they going to down...
Next gen is HDTV, bluetooth 2.0, bluray, HD-DVD, wifi, HDMI, hard drive, motion controls, multi core processors with over 3 GHZ in each core, online service, 5.1 surround sound, 7.1 surround sound, online playable games...
DVD is not next gen
having no harddrive built into the system is not next gen
having sub HD resolutions is not next gen
Having no HDMI port is not next gen
Dolby Prologic is not next gen
People forget that this HD-DVD player is first or second gen HD-DVD...I believe they are in 4 gen HD-DVD players now...cheap is good and all, but you are going to be missing a lot of features...
1080p is the standard for HD-DVD and bluray!
You want a player to at least do 1080p...even the xbox 360 HD-DVD add on will do 1080p!!!
Get a bluray player...the 40Gb PS3 which will do 1080p, 24 fps, HDMI 1.3a, 7.1 unconpressed sound..everything...
I am just saying. I have nothing against HD-DVD but why buy something that is below spec?
Oh an somebody was saying most tvs are 1080i or below...this is somewhat true for today...but 1080p...
The other games might be delayed...Has anybody seen the latest Assassians Creed build? It is any good? I have not seen this running on the PS3 yet.
I heard Haze went gold already...so why would it be delayed?

Naughty Dog is a better developer and they are using the power of the PS3 to kick some ass in this game. The water effects, the particle effects....Uncharted will blow us away...
Most of the people who say otherwise are people who can not afford a 1080p set...and we all know 1080p sets are not that expensive now...you can get a 1080p projector for $2200 that will show a 100 inch picture!!! You can get a Sony rear projection 1080p 60 inch LCD for around $2000. You can get a 42 inch 1080 LCD flat panel for around $1300.
Sure a 42 inch 720p\1080i set is around $800 but if you really look and do your own testing you can see that there is a difference...but ...
