This is it...Super Mario Galaxy is going to be the best game on the Platform...they can not do anything else that is graphically better....Graphics do mean something.....and most people will see in 2008 and 2009 when PS3 games come out that totally blow people away....Sure the PS3 is $150 more than a wii right now...but by the end of 2008 it will only be $50 more....Nintendo will not lower the price of the wii until it is not saleing well...
Since the hard disc is much faster...steam texture data from it will speed up load times...but there are other reasons why 3.5 gigs of data is put on the harddrive....
I guess that rumor for the closed beta comming in January 2008 might be true! I want to be in that beta so bad...
I agree that the info bar is useless....it needs to be a RSS reader...and i hope sony will change it to an RSS reader like in the PSP.
But 2.0 firmware is solid...

I have never seen than in a video game...and the demo is an early build! I know no problems in the demo...sure it too a while to kill some of the pirates...but they said they fixed that in the final code...this will be the best game Third Person shooter on the PS3 or any system for than matter...the graphics in uncharted make the graphics in gears of war look like a wii game....damn that was harsh...but it is true...

It like like more real...and it is like a real band...and you get all the instruments, drums, guitar, and mic...for $169...and the are wireless for the guitar on the PS3....

Japan like differnet games..they like MGS4, final fantasy 13, White Knight Story....ect....ect...The PS3 will dominate Japan after these games come out...The PS3 will also dominate world wide after next year...Do not be scared if your an xbot...it was only a matter of time...and do not forget Sony will also do another price drop to $299 by end of next year...The in 2009 the PSP2 will drop out of the Sony birthing hatch....with its 45nm cell processor....and 32 gig of flash memory.....and $199...

This game was developed on the PS3 first then ported to the xbox 360....or simultamiously developed on both playforms like COD4...
I played a demo a few times and got use to the handling....but i really want burnout paradise in january....so i will wait for that one and GT5 prologue for my racing fix...

Everybody knows the PS3 is the best bluray player with over 6 million sold...HD-DVD can not even get near this amount of players on the market....at $399 for everything...the 40 GB PS3 is a steal as a bluray player...you get HDMI 1.3a, and 1080p and deep color and 24 fps...you get none of this on the $99 to $299 HD-DVD players...
1080p is important since all bluray and HD-DVD discs are recorded in 1080p. 1080p TVs are also not expensive anymore...look at the best buy black frid...

We also got better DVD upscalling to 1080p than the Xbox 360....in firmware 1.80...
We may not have in game XMB yet...but has been proven to work on the PS3...we just have to wait till sony will release it...probably when home comes out in April 2008...
Sony cares about us....all we have to do is still voice our opinions...and we will get what we want....its only a matter of time...for those who are so vocal about XMB access during games keep it up....
But this 2.0 update is good and i am glad we got it....Sony is till doing almost an update per month....

I have had a 60 GB version since release date....folding at home 24\7 with over 630 work units...no issues....I will get a 40 GB PS3 when the 65nm chips are in it in early 2008 for my second PS3 to hook up in my game room.

They will get it to us because we, really, really really want in game XMB....sony said they are working on it...it is a memory issue...they are trying to make it work with as little memory foot print as possible. Give them more time.
Plus the online experience in Rock Bank is worlds better.
