Show me the xbox 360 version doing 1200 zombies on the screen at one time.
with hard disc space (you know it is tight on that system) will be doing full installs of their games. The developer on that system will even become more lazy...pretty soon all Xbox 360 games will run better or require a full install to run correctly.
I do not think the PS3 devs will get this lazy...they can't because they have to use the bluray space because their games are so big...there is no way you can do a full 50 gb install of a game....unless they start making 1 TB 2.5 ...

There is no way you can do this with Xbox 360, or even a wii.
The wii use to overheat in standby mode if it was connected to connect24. Did nintendo ever fix that? I think they did in a firmware update.

The Microsoft crap is meh....it has to WOW when it is first announced to be a big splash...that is how sony does it...they did it with Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, MGS4, and Motorstorm, and Infamous....and even Resistance 2.
Microsoft needs to learn from Sony...they need to learn how to WOW from the first showing of a new game.

you can get a PS3 for $399 at walmart this weekend and then get a $100 walmart gift card!
So technically the PS3 is $299.
Because HDTV sales are still good, and the prices of the 1080P HDTVs are less than $800 now for a 42 inch...and will only get lower at we get closer to christmas. Bluray players are now less than $180...and will be less than $100 by Christmas 2009. All we need now is for the bluray movies to be the same prices as DVDs and it is all over for DVD. It will happen...that is why the HD-DVD and DD fanboys are so scared.
DD will survive but it will never have the sales and mass as blu...

Digital downloads are barely 720p...and they do not have the video bandwidth.
If you TV will do 1080p (like most of the HDTVs being sold) then get a bluray player or if you already have one watch the movie on bluray if and only if you want to see and hear the movie at its best.
You never own them when you digital download...and the quality of DD is crap compared to bluray, and even real DVD.
This is make people buy bluray players just to see that movie in 1080p and Dolbe True HD sound!!!

Gears 2 is avg around 9.2...and R2 is avg around 9.3...so they are about the same in reviews.
LBP kills all...the highest reviewed game so far this christmas season.
We also have the prince of persia game comming it might be awesome....
The feature is now in the OS...has been for awhile...but the devs have not implemented into all games.
The headsets on xbox live suck...especially the wireless one. The PS3 official headset is totally awesome.
HOME is better than the Xbox live Experience.

But 42 to 70 inches upscalled DVDs look like crap. You can see the video noise and blockiness.
You do not see than on bluray. Plus you can get blacker than blacks on bluray and a good 1080p plasma tv.
1080p 40 inch tvs are less than $800 now...even samsung models...well at least this black friday.

It is a perfect place to meet other PSN users...also playing R2 is a good way too.
But in home, as long as sony gets the dance club fixed and the mall fixed...it will be just like real life. It will be ultimately better than second life and the Xbox 360 take on social networking.
Amazing...anybody who says otherwise is on some bad drugs...This is the best online co-op on the market...nothing can touch it. It works..the action is so fast and so awesome...there is no lag. The stories in the co-op are awesome.
I have not even tried the 60 player online skirmish mode yet...I hear it is awesome too. Show me another console that is doing 60 player online?
