Home will be so successful...all the people trying to kill its hype are just being stupid....Home is going to be so big.....and going to be crazy.

So by march the PS3 with bluray, wifi and 80 Gb 2.5 inch SATA will run $299....and it will have software backwards compatibility.

Come on do you guys know that 1080p is not the end of HD? There are 4k tvs is prototype form...they will need a 400GB disc....this also proves than DD will never kill DVD bluray and super bluray....
How are you gonna download 400GB movies to watch on your 4k TV?
The Sony PS3 is still a secure system. it has not been hacked yet...like the wii and Xbox 360. Sony is doing things right in the firmware world.
Upgrade your internet speed to the fastest that you can afford. All these hates keep talking about Digital Downloads taking over bluray and disc based media...and they are harping on waiting 5 mins to download a 130 meg firmware...need to get a life.

I saw a 52 inch 1080p plasma...and bluray running it and I was like WOW!
To really see bluray you gots to have a 1080p Plasma...if you are gonna go cheap..get a panasonic 1080p plasma...best buy had the 42 inch on sale for $800.

And you could have gone to best buy and bought any of the bluray discs for $16 each....Walmart was selling blurays for $9.99 to $15...
Bluray is mainstream...and selling super well...just wait till next tuesday when the Dark Knight comes out.....that day will launch bluray into orbit!
Remember bluray is better than Digital Distribution...better than DVD, better than upscalled DVD...and bluray is getting cheaper by the week in both movie price and player price.

All you cheap folks had to do was get the $128 magnavox bluray player from Walmart last friday...and you could have gotten iron man for $9.99 or $16.00 at walmart or best buy...and you would have been set.
Bluray even looks better on a 40 inch or higher tv...they showed it. Its the colors and sound folks.
Remember a bluray player will also upscale...
DLC is for quick watching...you will never see good 1080p DLC...the bandwidth is not there....
DLC will complement DVD and Bluray.
Bluray is 1080p real HD video and sound
DVD is 480p...for casual viewing and for people who do not have HDTVs.

Maybe firmware 2.53 broke it...but R2 has been very stable in the past week after than last R2 update.

There is at least 150K users in the closed beta right now....its almost there...they have just a few things to work out...be patient.
Even a Xbox 360 update is way less than 5 mins....
The PS3 system updates are 10 mins or less.
First get a faster internet connection. Roadrunner turbo is 25megs down and 2 megs up for about $55 a month.
Lets face it the Xbox 360 can not run folding@home...if it could the folding@home team would have already created an app. There are NVIDIA and ATI based apps already.
But hey each there own. Folding@home does help in research....and its all free and voluntary. Alot of people have been folding 24/7 since march 2007 with no issues...this is not even possible on the Xbox 360...maybe with the Jasper chipset....

If you know how to shop you can get bluray movies less than the price of DVDs...sure it was black friday...but you all know the industry is seeing the sales and will price the discs lower from now on.
DVD is gonna be dead by this time next year....bluray players will be less than $100....its all over...for DVD.

Same thing at circuit city and Walmart. The $128 bluray player at walmart sold out in less than 10 mins.
I want to see a ice skating rink....Night clubs...they can even go further and have drag strips...have a small driving area....Also a fight club. They could go even deeper and have a marina area where you can take a boat out and explore some islands.
None of this will ever be possible on any other console.
There were these two guys talk fight with their mics....I started circling around them and then a bunch of people started to garther around them...they were talking some deep crap about each other and their moms....It was almost like real life...heck it was like we were in high school.
What HOME needs is a fight club...where you get prizes (home cash?) if you win that round or fight.
