He was expecting metroidvania.
They are critizicins it because it's "too challenging"... liked Demon Souls? heck, liked Bayonetta? This is for you ;)
Absotlutely. MAsterpiece of this generation.
I would be in your same position If I wasn't a CV fan... but believe me, their criticisms are ufundamented, I mean, it's a 20+ hrs game, what harm could do 2/3 invisible walls?
So they overrrated GOW III too? lol
Gamespot and Gametrailers: "Lords of Shadow takes too much influence from other great games; we're marking down for it."
Game Informer: "Lords of Shadow takes a lot of influence from other great games; we're marking up for it."
WOW, Red Dead Redemption was 1 POINT FROM PERFECTION.
Heck Famitsu, if only it was Pokemon xD
Is an objective review. It calls its faults, but it admits that they by no means outweights its strenghts.
That's why I don't like Symphony of the Night, it's a Super Metroid rip off
But you can exange experience for the "auto-solution" so i don't know how that's a point of criticism...
He says there are unreachables platfforms... IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO RETURN LATTER WHEN YOU GET NEW ABILITIES, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!
*sigh* I'm sure the "very original" Call of Duty is getting a 9--- oh...
It-s the original headline *Very Silly IMO
I don't try t sabotage, at all, I enjoy them... I just try to make others see "beyond" FPS... but I have nothing against them if they're good, have mine preordered :)
Wahahaha this is very funny :P
I think it's going to be fun, however, I see this game as just ANOTHER reskinned CoD2, if you are old enough, another reskinned Medal of Honor. Really, aside from narrative, FPS haven't changed a lot since, you know, doom?
But, *sigh* It doesn't matter how long I try, this is going to have 90+ reviews, sell a gazillon of copies and make that fuking Kitick's smile even bigger. oh, and his wallet too.
Yeah thanks ^^ however IDK why do they have to be like that, why can't we just enjoy the game regardsless of numbers? I'm not playing with them anyway :P
I'm not saying this game doesn't have lame attack patterns, just that GOW has but that's HOW IT WORKS and it's amazing, Kratos HAS to feel powerful, that's why we play GOW, it's the satisfaction we get from it. You won't find that in CVLOS, bosses are to making us fel intimidated not in scale but in power, Cv protagonists are weak compared toi their enemies, it's CV style.
People are saying "Chronos is bigger!" "KRatos is badasser!"...
This is an old build.
And the 24 fps are AVERAGE, the gameplay goes in solid 26 fps (cinematic FPS) the framerate drops in cutscenes (!) but that's hopefully adressed in the final build.
And, hey, you didn't noticed this before, this is not a game breaker thing, remember that Crysys at max sets runs at 24 fps in a very high end PC and we love it, it's just about quality and how mercurySteam have managed the game to feel than anything else
:)
You guys are forgetting this is not GOW. It doesn't have to have the 1561985768ft bosses nor the espectacular decapitations nor the flashy effects.. this is CASTLEVANIA, a game about satisfying combat, strategic bosses (GOW bosses are epic in scale but lame in attack patterns, but that's not bad, it's GOW style but not CV's) gothic atmosphere, a dark tale but kinda innocent.
You're judging this game as a regular action game, this is not. This is a platfformer at it...
Haven't you read? it's a 20+ CASTLEVANIA game, not God of War, they have similar COMBAT but Cv is more than combat, it's about platfforming, gothic seting and mind blowing puzzles. Oh, and no uneccessary gore :)
Lacking platfformer, wait, what if... they simply didn't want to include platformer? I mean, how do you criticise Mario for its lack of shooting?
