Also, the way Scarecrows are hanged are a homage to Silent Hill, when you encounter that man hanged in a cross at the beginning of the game (their designs are similar too).

That this game was 20+ hours with a very bombastic ending. Actually a DLC is the best thing ever, I don't think I would survive another 3 years without knowing how that continues
near the full epicness of the game, you haven't feel this real vibe before having kiled at least one of the Lords...
Just keep playing, it's been said 56256789 times that the "Castlevania part" of it comes 9 hours in and believe me there's a REASON why,

Like Jaffe said, some developers are tarantino, some others jst want to be Jerry Bruckheimer, and there are people that enjoys Bruckheimer films the most =)
The problem comes when reviews harm non-fans perceptions and they lose a great game, we don't want that to happen to a GREAT game :(

That's the problem, it seems that they didn't fully play it. Thaey said here was no cstle, no familair music, no familiar enemies... it's all lies, they are in the last third of the game, he didn't reach that part.
Because they didn't blame the game for being bad... they lowered its score for not being Castlevania enough, and that's laughable because this is a 3D transition of original castlevania (Linear progression, not japanese style etc...). Also, some of their claims are BS like "There's no Castle". That makes the whole review a whole lie because there IS a Castle, the last thir of the game is in the Castle; that demonstrates that the reviewer didn't play the game enough, ...
I agree, we know this review was shit butI think no storm should be made from this, the game still has a 87 metascore (360 version) and it already includes IGN review so it didn't affect too much the general perception =)
I agree. this man is responsible for all Capcom recent flops. Dark Void? Re5? lost planet? Blame this man.
