Wow Rockstar never ceases to amaze me, I love that company, RDR was one of the best games in history and Rockstar is actually expanding it in smart ways that don't harm the original concept. Buying day 1
It's my personal game of the year, and that's because it's all I wanted CV to be, and I've always been a hardcore Cv fan, it's not THE objectively speaking GOTY (That probably goes to RDR or ME2) but hey, personal thinking is very different and I know my favourite game doesn't HAVE to be everyone's favorite, I couldn't be happier with LoS and I'm even more happy because it brought newcomers to the saga =)
Yeah, GOW III was not half as good, shame...
I'm joking of course :P please don't start this flamebait, you know that GOWIII was a high budget exclusive from a platform holder made by a multimillion dollars studio with years of experience and a solid gameplay base, and Castlevania was made with half that budget, an almost newcomer spanish team of 60 people working for one of the most obscure next gen companies (name a KOnami game besides Metal Gear Silent Hill and PES...
They are kinda similar but not too much, Castlevania is a lot more platfformer focused, I would say, this is more a Prince of Persia than a God of War. Trailers and demo were really misleading.
It doesn't matter, both franchises are great :)
But people buying kineck don't care so I'd not be worried about it if I was MS =P.
It's a great idea though, I hope it sells well so it's more money for microsoft game division and perhaps they will make a fine hardcore game :)

I don't think so. If the game is good (and it is) it's well worth its price even if it's only 6hrs long (less than 5 is bad, but 6? just ok). Now, Castlevania lasts 24+ and reviewers said it was "too much", now this lasts 6 and it's also bad... seriously this "gaming press" is really really fucked up...
This and castlevania according to Sterling? God please kill that man

Wow. Lords of Shadow is still the best rated game this month, it survived Fallout, Medal of Honor and Enslaved. Bring Vanquish on? O.o

Yep, it has its flaws, but they say "THis is not Castlevania it's a clone of everything". It may be (and it IS Castlevania, after Chapter 3 that is) but it's an absolutely marvelous game.
They say that "you'll have a blast" but they bashed it the whole review, again, for not being CV-ish enough. God, what part of REBOOT don't you understand?

This is a tongue in cheek story, no one takes it seriously in RDR canon, it's like a Haloween special. far more preferable than a story expansion that leaves more plot holes than the original game, now that's harming *cough*AlanWake*cough*
