BITCH!
Here's a good tip that a lot of peaople don't now of. The cover smoke perk removes tracer darts from your vehicle, including helicopters. Very usefull!
@Zootang
Platinum Games made Bayonetta, and now they're making Vanquish.
Simply stunning. I wonder if it'll be more more of an adventure game or rpg.
Why wouldn't it? Studio Ghibli always release their movies abroad, and hell, they've even got so much recognition in the west they got an Oscar. Also most of Level 5's games are released in the west (except for some titles for NDS)
Not really a step in the wrong direction as a step in a different direction. If you prefer the style of Battlefield I suggest you stick with the Battlefield franchise. There's really no other game that does quite what Battlefield does.
People from DICE said in an interview that the hit detection boxes are bigger in MoH than in BC2, so it should actually be easier to hit your target in this game.
Could it be that you've seen videos from he singleplayer part of the game? Not only is it developed by a different studio, it's also built upon a totally diferent graphics engine.
but that would be awesome! FF VI was really a better game than FF VII. It's easier to tell that now than back when FF VII was new and hot, hot, hot though :-)
Would probably cost a lot more than making a remake of FF VII though. And FF VI has a much smaller fan base here in the west, so I don't really see it happening.
Maybe not a complete remake of the old game, but a version with new textures, re-rendered backdrops and HD resulotion could and will certainly come at some point. Mark my words.
It takes more bullets to kill in MoH than in BF:BC2. Quite a bit more actually.
Played it for a while and... it's nothing special. Going back to indestructable enviroments and non team-focused play after playing Battlefield just isn't very fun. Also there's no recoil what so ever. The guns feel like BB guns.
I'm so glad ThatGameCompany are around and doing their own thing. Developers like them are important to keep the art in gaming alive. Also, Journey looks like their most promising title yet, atleast to me.
I especially like that GG they're adding HDR audio. That's the same technique they use in BF:BC2, and it sounds great. Enhanced graphics are welcome too of course.
Nah, it's still for the PSP
I love how IGN ended their summary of the event; "For me, the highlight of the evening was watching Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki walk into the event in his white robe, taking in the scene behind his traditional sunglasses. He looked around a few times, stood quietly for a few moments and then turned around and left."
Lol. I wish I could see this on video.
Nice article. It's always nice to read a proper interview once in a while, instead of all the other garbage I'm used to here on n4g.
Sure Europe is considered west, but Cliff specifically said US tech beats Japanese tech.
While talking kick ass european developers, lets get DICE, Quantic Dream and Media Molecule in there as well.
if this would've been developed by Might & Delight I wouldn't have a second thought about it, but now... I dunno.
Also, adding a jump button to Bionic Commando? Sounds fishy.
I feel like crying. It's too beautiful!
