I totally agree. For assult the AN94 is simply the most effective gun. As engineer I use the AK74 or UZI, as medic the T88, and as recon the Gol for it's awesome accuracy.
I agree with you on that it's one of the best games this year and that the series doesn't need to be on the PS3, but NOT on that it would be superior the first game. I would say that the actual gameplay is on an equal level, or just a tad better, than in the first game, but the story and character library is a lot weaker. I'm playing VC2 on my psp connected to my tv through the component cable, so I get the "tv experience" anyway, but the garphics could have ben sooo much better if it was for ps3 instead.
Well, well. I'll get VC3 anyway just because it's still awesome, even though it's on the psp.
VC2 on the PSP is actually just as great as the first game, but I still see why most people (atleast here in the west) prefer to have the series on the PS3. Looking at the sales data from the two games shows that VC1, although a slower start, did sell quite a lot more than VC2. So most probably the third installment will be for the PS3 again.

Or it might show that Bayonetta was a very Japanese game and that PS3 is a lot bigger in Japan(and Europe) than in the states.
Actually Bayonetta has double the framerate of Vanquish. Don't know about the effects though since I haven't actually played Bayonetta (wouldn't get it 'cause of the bad PS3-port).
On a side note, it'll be interesting to see how much Vanquish will sell on PS3 now that Platinum Games actually made it work like it should work!
They can't, haven't and won't ban people for using these kind of hardware converters.
First of all, I've been using a XFPS-converter since something like 2 years back and they haven't banned anyone so far, so why would they now? Anyway, it's actually not really like playing with mouse and keyboard for the PC, and I'm still getting better scores with my dualshock 3.

You can play as much as you want, it's just that you're limited leveling up your character to 8 hours a week. That doesn't stop you from questing and gaining loot though.
