Raise game prices for the poor multi-billion 🤑 corporation. What do they do, sell an online only game that can't be played offline. What a joke
Now you pique my interest
Agreed, Microsoft is moving away from videogame consoles to a service. Despite buying Zenimax, some not all games coming to other systems....
Good news PC gaming is alive and well. Has become the platform of choice in regards to third party games. It has lots of indie game exclusives. That's the idea to turn gaming into a service; thus, it increases their revenue. I don't see it happening anytime soon for many gamers want to own their games. Is the reason why Valve was forced to give game refunds, share games, and why game key sellers (G2A) exist to get back ownership.
Exclusives do matter
A $650 gaming PC is doable. I built a $680.00 gaming PC in 2011:
Intel i5 7600k LGA1151 Kaby lake VR ready processor with 3.8ghz quad core with 4 virtual cores.
Gigabyte Z270x Ultra Gaming Motherboard
3tb Sata Harddrive
128gb ssd drive
500gb 2009 harddrive
8gb ddr 4 ram
80 Gold Certified 750 watt fully modular power supply.
With a thermall take corex5 green case....
You spend between $600-$800 to get a gaming PC. You can hook a PC to a tv set along with gamepad playing on the sofa. The gaming PC is tailored on how you want your gaming experience
I disagree for if the xcloud works well on a potato pc then that will be the most affordable option.
Agreed. PC gaming won with pretty much every single third party game coming to PC, PS Now (is garbage right now, fingers crossed it improves), xbox game pass Really what is the point of owning a console
The title is misleading, for the game industry is defined by game developers willing to innovate & push forward. The PC gaming openess has allowed gaming innovation, from battle royale to hybrid genres, etc.
Only Sony needs is to continue with making great exclusive games and improve it's PS Now
Is this a reboot of the franchise
I enjoyed the interview
So when will Turn 10, 343 studios, and Compulsion (may have misspelled it) start new gaming up/franchise
The acquisition is new to me. In the past when a console manufacturer bought a gaming company all of its games were exclusive to the console manufacturer. Not the case with this acquisition meaning some titles will still come to PS5 and Ghost wire Tokyo is exclusive to PS5 😮 despite being published by Bethesda.😱 So now the acquisition looks strange and confusing, maybe I am old school
But isn't Bethesda own by Microsoft. Microsoft makes weird deals; Ghostwire Tokyo will be exclusive to PS5😮 despite Bethesda being owned by Microsoft. How does that make sense
Now I am confused, so Ghostwire Tokyo will be only on PS5 for about a year despite being a Bethesda title which Microsoft owns the company. What's going on.
Don't like the article much specially no mention of PS4 Pro which was badly needed to run the current gen games at optimal performance and visuals. To ensure the games didn't crashed and burned. Besides, it is clear that this is going to be a very PC centric gaming generation.
You are correct, I messed up the names. I have Dark Souls 🤥 not Demon Souls. Oops!
That sounds like me. Mostly because I work two jobs.
