When it comes to fighting games, diversity is more important than character count. Like, Street Fighter has a lot of characters, though several characters play similarly (not the same). This is where ARC shines, since BlazBlue and Guilty Gear have more diverse characters that appeal to different styles without a bunch of redundancies.
True, but you can't stop progress. However, this is just too fast.
I think it goes both ways...
I would say the excitement was ruined by hackers, but at least this gives people a real chance to get them. It really sucks when you just like a special color and spend hours upon hours upon years without ever getting the shiny one you want.
Not that it matters, but the Wii u is much smaller in all respects and I can post proof of it.
@rippn
I got the platinum and can tell you it's easy...
Why does everyone think this game is so difficult? I found Resogun to be very easy. @_@
Also, you can boost to them or set off a bomb. You just have to make sure it's not a sequence keeper.
What game are you playing? This game is easy. @_@
Anyway, I wouldn't trust trophy percents on new games, especially ones like this. You have to figure, a lot of people bought a PS4 and download Resogun (everyone has plus via code and it's free with plus). Of these people, they probably turned it on and played it once or twice before going to play a bigger game like Killzone. So Sony is tracking a lot of people that played it for 10 minutes (beating stage one) and the...
@ WeAreLegion
It is true that many people think a review is an expression of personal opinion, when in reality they're suppose to think of things in terms of the target market and rate it accordingly.
Like Knack might suck for the Killzone fan, but is awesome for the 8 year old. However, I didn't want to go on a long winded rant.
It can, but then that stuff starts to screw with your head.
Like, you would need to open the case with the box art facing upside down. This will also make the Xbox logo appear wrong when you open it too. Obviously all this stuff can be fixed, but a change like this is just "why?". It's almost as if M$ did so many 180's that they got confused and pulled one on the case too.
Honestly, it seems like a lot of people view reviews the wrong way.
Reviews aren't suppose to make you want to buy or prevent you from buying something. They're suppose to be informative articles that give you unbias (in the sense that the company isn't the one saying it) opinions to give you an idea of what to expect. Like if you want a child friendly game and that is what Knack is and does well, then who cares what it scores. It meets exactly what you're loo...
I think Legasista ( http://psnprofiles.com/trop... ) is the best example of a drought. Outside of the 30 floor baby trophy, the first one you can obtain is one for beating the game. From there, you're looking at HOURS of grinding just to have a shot at doing the rest. It takes about 50+ hours before you can start to obtain the trophies.
While I want to say this is stupid... I have to say I like my games being on the right side.
What kind of question is this?
Trophies / Achievements need balance, which is what easy trophies provide. Like I recently platinumed Resogun and there are several very easy trophies. There were also trophies for beating the whole game without losing all your lives on normal or higher (still hard) or holding a 15x multiplier combo (very hard). Several people are never going to do these trophies for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean they should be discouraged from hav...
I still want the third akrid plush. =[
The funny thing is how people trash the Wii U for these concepts, but fail to realize these concepts exist. The Wii U is very much so in a chicken/egg situation, which is a horrible place to be.
Gamer side:
I'll wait for games I want, since I can't justify a $300+ dollar system for Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pikmin and Platinum Games (though I could totally do so for the last one).
Company side:
We'll wait till the mar...
To be fair, all of these articles are paradoxical in nature.
We should not buy next gen, because it will get better over time. - Assumes that companies are willing to take massive risks in hopes of getting you to buy a console and then their game or it assumes that many people will ignore the article and support the system anyway.
We should buy next gen, because it will show companies we have more faith. - The Wii was the highest selling system last gen, but it was l...
Please, God of War is infinitely easier than Bayonetta on Hard...
So, for $400 I can buy a PS4 and destroy it or I can pay $11,000 to have a professional do it. Hm, decisions decisions...
Size =/= creditability
It all comes down to who reviews it and how they review it. A lot of people forget that larger sites sometimes have backdoor deals (you would be crazy to trust any place that had the right to publish something before the embargo) and are sometimes out of touch with what the average consumer wants / feels.
No fighting game will ever be perfectly balanced.
