Great list! Now if there was some way to squeeze Folklore in there...
I think you meant to say the 360 Pro/Elite is HD out of the box. The Arcade ships with standard RCAs. And $12 HDMI cables at Wal-mart won't kill you.
EDIT: Bubbles to Lou-Cipher and Stoney for remaining civil and discussing this like real gamers.
Let me rephrase...What NEW exclusives? We all know about Alan Wake. We all know about Halo:ODST. And Mass Effect 2. We know both companies have different approaches, but damn, people saying "Wait for E3" just doesn't make sense. Again, there was nothing announced exclusively last year that floored anyone. That's not to say they had bad games, not even close. However, when I watched the MS E3 conference last year and saw games I can play on my PS3, that doesn't make me think "Wa...
What exclusive games were announced at either GDC or E3 last year that would make anyone think this year is going to rock? Wait til E3...for what? Lips 2? You're in the Movies 2?
I think gamers worry about Edge's review scores more. Red Ring just comes free with the 360.
Don't feed the troll. I know it's hard...I KNOW IT'S HARD, but just add him to ignore and laugh. Without an audience, he's nothing.
I'm sold on it. From IGN's first hands-on preview to now, this game is definitely on my "buy" list. Sony is showing everyone why 1st party games are important.
I agree, but can't understand what the hold up could be...
MGS4 is one game that needs trophies. NEEDS them. For nothing other than to make myself feel good about beating the game. 3 times. And if/when trophies come, I'll play and beat it again. And again. Why? MGS4 is THAT good.
It's only just begun. A year younger than the competition and has exclusive games looking leaps and bounds better than said competition. Imagine 4th and 5th gen games. Yikes!
P.S. - Buy Flower.
Both PSP versions were ported to the PS2. The JP SP Store has all the Resident Evil games (1-3) available for download and play on the PS3. While I agree this will more than likely going be the PSP versions, if they were PS3 compatible, I'd scoop up Vice City stories with quickness.
What game could possibly counter God War? I know some 360 troll is bound to pop up, so answer me what could? There isn't a PS3 game that can counter it.
Money whores charge you to play games online and wade through ads on your Dashboard.
Thank X-play. It's their video showing us a closed eye Greenburg telling us all what we already knew...they have no counter for Sony's lineup. DLC won't cut it.
Who needs first party studios...
106,000 more than your "real" competition (for 2nd place) and it's priced $200 more than your cheapest SKU? That far from a complete blow out. Especially in these economic times. Spin it however you feel you need to guys, but Sony is steadily doing better and better, year over year. Don't let the fear blind you. Off to play Afro Samurai. That game is phat, trophies or not (albeit disappointing that there are no trophies).
Sorry, but for me, Blockbuster is the muthaclucking shiznit-tizzle. Yes, I said it. I live 4 miles from a BB store and have been getting movies online since their service started. I have the Total Access package, 3 movies out for $19.99 and get 2 free rentals in-store (that I use for games) and unlimited in-store exchanges. On top of that, any movie I rent from a store with one of my mailers is bound by my total access agreement. Meaning: no due date, no late fees. That little program is goin...
I'm not trying to downplay your legitimate "want" of BC, but you're not in a situation where you can't play your PS2 games. Your refusal to play them on a PS2 is the problem. I want The Warriors to be BC on my 360, but since it isn't guess what I do?
Dude really is in some sort of delusional Matrix if he even remotely believes that statement. Check the date on your clock...it's not 07.
I agree that Yakuza is the best thing Sega has published since Shenmue. Then I would add Valkyria Chronicles to the list as well. I have both Yakuza 1&2 and they were absolutely fantastic. I actually liked Yakuza 2 having no English voice over. I'm fine with subtitles (plus for whatever reason, it felt more authentic).
To Sega: If this game doesn't make it stateside, I will Bastard Thrust my way to your headquarters hell bent on destruction!
