I love these. I saw the exact same game or differences so insignificant, if you claim otherwise you're a fanboy. And an idiot.
Shouldn't this be on Bad Joystick?
In all seriousness, it's an opinion piece not a press release people, calm down.
There's a whole lotta insanely stupid reasons in that post. Here, let's add to the madnesss
11. 21 million sold...at gunpoint
12. Sony wrote and directed "From Justin to Kelly"
13. Sony is Japanese for opression
14. 360 is the PS2 of this generation
15. Uwe Boll cares
Whoa...have you played Siren? Because had you, you'd see how your comment was sculpted from the clay Fail Falls.
Confirmed.
Well, the demo actually confirmed it, but this just ices the cake. I like Eurogamer's reviews, but do take them with a grain of salt.
EDIT: I must add my decision isn't based off the score. I give a damn about the numerical value a guy luckier than me places on something. This is what helped my decision:
"The setting might have changed a little, but everything else is inescapably reminiscent of the village sequence of the previous game, ...
No troll kiddie. Broken 360 owner. I'm bitter and sharing.
I must agree. While playing Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Mass Effect and Gears of War 2...I noticed a sh1t ton of bugs, glitches and the occasional c-c-c-combobreaker!!! that (for as much as I keep up with gaming) weren't harped on like PS3 games. But you can only hate something for so long. Look at how the press treated Nintendo with their DS and Wii announcements to now. With the 1st party muscle Sony is flexing right now, I have no doubts that the pendulum will swing the other way.
The best position for the 360 is still sitting on the shelf at the store.
That's my biggest issue. I have a wife and 3 kids and wasting money for a 12 or 13 month subscription that I'll only play 6 months online (if that)is not in the cards. Yeah, there's 1/3/12 month cards, but wasting money is wasting money. For me, I like playing SF4 online for free. And Killzone 2. And COD. You get my point:)
I think none of the "leaked" info is all that outta the question. If voice messaging AND chat were to get enabled, what would the new fanboy reason be to hate on PSN? For a service going into its 3rd year, offering what PSN offers FOR FREE, 7yr old XBL seems like MORE of a rip off, IMHO.
@ mboojigga
Look. Feel free to spend your money however you see fit. But don't get this arrogant, holy than thou, ignorant assed "You can't afford Live" attitude. It's an online service you're happy to pay for. There's a flip side to that coin. Instead of childish fanboy banter (I have played my part on N4G many times), rise above it. Just say why you pay for it. Why it makes sense for you. $8, $30 deals, $50 a year, it doesn't matter...but to some, it's not worth it. That is ...
56% of XBL subscribers PAY. That's how blind they've made you. You think EVERYONE is on Live. Sorry.

I like not having to hunt for deals. FREE is a better deal. I'd rather use that $35 to buy games.
Completely agree. Microsoft knows online multiplayer is the basis for subscribing to Live. Would anyone pay $50 a year for the Marketplace and messaging systems (voice and text)? If you stripped online multiplay out of XBL, I don't think anyone would pay. Mainly because most (if not all) aren't subscribing to it for anything other than online play.
Remember children: Action Bastard doesn't pay for the Internet twice...and neither should you!
Time and time again, I see the comparison videos or read how awful the framerate is for the PS3 version of "game-x", yet once played, it isn't even an issue. Orange Box is a perfect example, imo. "Oh the framerate is a slideshow!"...then you play it...and it's not. Bandwagoners and gaming posers will try to convince you otherwise. Many, many people will buy the PS3 version and not think about how it plays on the 360. Which will be exactly the same.
Also, enoug...
I'd sign it ;)
The controls are fine. I really think the game is so superb, this is the only thing critics and haters can find to whine about. There are control options, use them.
"Even at their current price, people are still signing up with the XBL having well over 17 million users paying for the Gold Membership."
I guess you missed the report that the total number (17mil) is Gold and Silver accounts. You must have also missed the leaked MS email showing about 50% of Live accounts were gold.
Side note: I hate half assed "reporting".
I liked Mirror's Edge. As long as you don't pick up a gun, you're golden. And the gameplay is phat (albeit rinse/repeat).
