I got a month card with the Arcade unit I shipped in for scratching discs 3 weeks ago. They still do and they still eat the cost.

That 4K decrease from 2008 sales (minus a sh1t economy) is Earth shattering for Sony. Really. It is.
I think it has to do with the different release schedules of XBL and PSN. But tell yourself whatever you need to.

I agree. But when you look at what Capcom has done with SF4 and RE5 (demos, home space for RE, Home rewards, Capcom storefront), you don't see them saying anything. I also don't see Sony letting this bite them. There are other incentives they can offer to soften this "blow".
I'll say it again:
So since Oct. 2008, this 16 cent per GB fee has been in effect? It's the middle of March 2009 and we've yet to see any loss of quality or quantity. I think the upset pubs would have been better served crying in 2008.

No, I used Stephen Totilo's vid. If you knew anything about gaming, the industry, and/or all of the above, you wouldn't dismiss it simply because MTV is on it. Never heard Totilo on 1up? Guest stint on Kotaku? He actually is a part of gaming journalism that gets more access to things than HHG or BlogX or VGChartz. But by all means, ignore what you fear.
