Is anyone surprised by that list? Or by the number of multiplatform titles?

They will.

I think the have benefited as much as they can from the price drop, right now at least. Look at last month's NPD. The $199/299/399 360 outsold the $399/499 PS3 by just 100k. Granted, the economy is in the sh!tter, but 100k doesn't scream dominance to me. With what we know is coming to the 360 vs. what's coming to the PS3, you're right, if they don't show exclusive reasons to own a 360 it will be rough.

And that's before any GDC or E# surprises from Sony. Stephen Totilo video blo...

Time to buy #2

Hopefully the framerate and camera have been fixed. If not, I'll pass. Playing the 360 version was painful at times.

I've never really had any beefs with IGN. I trust their reviews and enjoy their write ups. I do, however, disagree with the claim of framerate issues. I've yet to encounter a dips in the slightest.

I was one of the many that hated on it honestly. The controls felt dated (and to a certain extent, still do), but I'll be damned if it isn't fun as hell. Everything that was good about RE4 is here, only in HD. Co-op is a lag free dream. Hop in, hop out. Game launching from Home is pretty sweet (as are the Home rewards). Overall, a game I once said I'd rent...I rented and now want to buy. If you're an RE fan, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't play it.

LOL @ "confirmed" better. Have yet to see any framerate drops...and I've been playing it online co-op for the past hour and a half (shout out to mirroredderorrim). People who think one version is better than the other are tools with Return of the Living Dead avatars. Well look what we have here...

The games you stand in virtual queues for are worth playing when compared to XNA Community Games. And that's sad.

I don't.

I like it. I like it a lot. Yes, it's not a leap for the series. That's not a bad thing. I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. The demo didn't do it any justice. What was once a purchase became a rental. Now this rental, will likely become a purchase. Go figure. If anyone wants to play co-op, hit me up.

I think discounting a differing opinion simply because it differs from yours is lame. The guy has valid points, but ultimately, the MP is so good, it doesn't matter, imo.

Just think of the movements players would have to make in Sonic and Mario Bukkake Party.

I'm glad to see Yakuza 3 still in there. I think it's safe to say we can expect a NA/EU release.

Yeah, really. The AI director only does so much and regardless of the difficulty adjusting, it's the same...4...maps. I can completely see your viewpoint because you also have the PC version which is privy to mods AND the free dlc. My 360 copy has already been traded on Goozex. Watching video of the new mode helped me make the decision. I wanted more campaigns, the reason to play.

"The only real problem with the game was the content..."

That's a pretty damn big problem.

Thom pretty much sums it up. Why do you fear the PS3 so much Omega? It's really quite good.

I want to play co-op with my friends for free. Guess which version I'm buying?

It's 2009 and your (PSLS) article reflects that.
