another BOOM!HEADSHOT! shooter for the frat boys to get in a lather about. Considering all the fresh, exciting new prospects on the horizon - oh like say, Catherine, L.A. Noire, The Last Guardian, LittleBigPLanet 2 - a title like Bulletstorm has never looked more by-the-numbers.
Striking visual aesthetic, supremely effective soundtrack from what I can tell and overall instantly intriguing stuff. I've got a Wii, so no problems there. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for it to be localised, IF it gets localised. It'd have to be good too; not another colossal flop in every department like Calling was.
Please be good. Please be good. Please be good.
"Or, Shenhua will ask Ryo a hypothetical question like: 'There are four animals; a monkey, cat, dog and bird. You are crossing the river but you need to leave one behind. Which one will you leave behind?' And the player has to choose one."
DURRRR! The bird of course! It can fly across. What kind of Mickey Mouse bullcrap riddle is that?
would implode on itself if Shenmue III were officially announced. It would cause blackouts and riots and looting and the whole world would descend into choas and anarchy.
Maybe it's best that Shenmue III doesn't happen. Heads would explode.
In my own dumb way I thought it was an advert for Splinter Cell: Conviction (bit late now!) and I expected the trailer to begin after it.
And then I see Batman and think..."oh."
Not hating on Batman : AC, but if this was supposed to induce excitement for the game (which is about a year away from release!) then it hasn't succeeded. Too brief, too ordinary. Batman beating up some Special Op dudes; whoop-de-doo.
Let it be said, I did complete AA and enjoyed it thoroughly. Its sequel is too far away at this present time to get my blood pumping though, and this teaser hasn't helped.
Well that was a woefully redundant news piece that told me nothing new about the game. I don't usually have a problem with NowGamer and appreciate them for the most part, but c'mon: that was all filler, no killer.
It felt so magical back then, like literally playing a Disney cartoon of sorts. It's sequel was ace as well, Mirror of Illusion (I think), which doubled the awesomeness of allowing you to play as Donald Duck also. Are they on any compilations? Would love to play those two games again.
Edit - Oh yeah, I thought I got that wrong. It was WORLD of Illusion.
and make it snappy.
never even knew about it. So I got a bit of a shock when I played the game a second time and did things a little differently. Instead of diving in the deep end and leaning in for a snog with the ex straight away, I tried my hand at some seductive guitar soloing instead. Before I knew it...BAM! Elongated sex scene complete with interactive thrusting. At least the dude wasn't a zombie this time.
Yeah I've still got both Fear Effect games and I absolutely cherish them to bits. Especially the first one, which blew my mind the very first time I played it (which was the release date come to think of it). Development on the third game was scrapped, just as it was near completion. That still pisses me off to this day.
not with L.A. Noire on the horizon; a far more interesting prospect in my eyes. I'd rather play L.A. Confidential than Scarface.
Catherine
Silent Hill 8
Duke Nukem Forever
HOW COULD YOU FORGET CATHERINE!?!
Each Yakuza game is better than the last and getting the platinum for number 3 was seriously satisfying. Looking forward to doing it all over again; I just hope the minigames are a little easier this time.
There seem to be more of them now than ever before.
The Last Guardian
L.A. Noire
The Team ICO Collection
LittleBigPlanet 2
Catherine
Yakuza 4
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
Silent Hill 8
Duke Nukem Forever
Journey
Portal 2
Ni no Kuni
Twisted Metal
Gray Matter
Batman: Arkham City
Pretty much in that order you could say. I'm crazy excited for all of this stuff.
yet a sequel to Mirror's Edge hasn't even been announced yet. I know which one I'd rather have.
when they die.
Why all the disagrees? It's true. It's total weeaboo heaven on that site.
I don't see any cleavage.
is if his name keeps making them money. 'Cept it seems like annual rehashes ain't doing the trick these days...ey Kotick? If you didn't COD to fall back on, you'd be royally f**ked.
