It takes all the environmental attributes of snow/ice and uses them to make for some brilliantly designed platforming. Not only that, the game still looks beautiful to this day, ...
But on the complete flipside, if there's a game you've been itching to play for months on end sitting at the bottom of your tree, all wrapped up and waiting to be opened on the 25th; then you're gonna be giddy like a fatty at an all you can eat buffet.

I hate playing games on the PC, but this has been one of my favourite games for over a decade, thus I'd love to play a sligtly new spin on it, just to see what changes have been made and what not. Just wish the friggin' thing came out on PSN. Is that really too much to ask?!

until I played the demo this afternoon. Oh Christ. I consider myself quite the point 'n' click adventure fan, but that game is an abomination. Controlling a character is akin to pushing a car up a hill of sludge. And the voice-acting of the female protagonist is laughable; she'd sound more suitable on the set of a porno film.

I said I wouldn't as a principal, and I stuck to my guns. It's been an overcrowded genre for so long now and I'm sick to death of them.
I'm likely to break that rule next year though, what with Duke Nukem Forever coming out. But I'm only buying that game for the lulz. I'm not missing out on all those golden one-liners.
World Of Deceit was a beast of a title, I really wish it was chosen over Drake's Deception.
Two years between games, that's perfect I'd say. If it came out if January then that would be a no-win situation as well, with gamers (rightfully) declaring it an annual rehash a la Call Of Duty.

I'd like to have seen Yakuza 3 get a mention over some of the more lacklustre multi-platform titles mentioned here; it really is an underappreciated gem of a game. Give me that over Cack-Ops any day of the millennia.
