Eurogamer readers; I'm a little disappointed in you.
I'd like to see anyone who supports the likes of geohat and failover watch this vid and still advocate the "art" of hacking. This is what it instantly leads to: cheating, soon to be on a mass scale.
Sony have every right to file a lawsuit. Every right.
Swell. Good job I gave up on the Call Of Duty games well over a year ago. A shame for anyone on the PS3 who hopes to play a fair match from here on out though.
LittleBigPlanet was one of the first games I got for my PS3 and I'll always remember it first and foremost for the communal sense of online play; how pleasant it was to play with other people and help them with trophies/traversing levels. Prior to that, I was really only accustomed to hearing foul-mouthed punks on XboxLive blurting out racial slurs and just generally being a nuisance. LBP taught me that online play with strangers from all around the globe can be a joyful experience afte...
I was backflip with joy. It's one thing to hack a console for your own needs and preference, quite another to obtain the security keys of said console and brandish them around the internet for anyone to exploit; and that's where piracy automatically enters the frame. He f**ked up by explicitly and proudly exclaiming, for the e-glory, that he was the one who obtained the keys.
And now he's going to pay the price. Should've stayed anonymous Frodo.
if the terms and conditions are stated from the outset. And they are. So everybody knows and risk and no one has an excuse.
I may even shed a tear for them.
Mmmm, nah.
List is irrelevant if not.
What good is cross-game chat if you can't even go online without being instantly detected by Sony? Pfft, none of this homebrewing is worth the risk.
especially what with the recents murmurings that the game would most probably get pushed back to '12.
Looks like my Christmas this year is already sorted out :D Too early to be talking about Christmas?
To me, it's not so much the fact that he gives undeniably great games such as LBP 2 relatively low scores that bothers me; it's the tripe that he favours instead. 9 for Singularity, 10 for Deadly Premonition, and I've heard he actually enjoys playing the later Dynasty Warrior games.
The guy is clearly trying to make a bid for subjectivity in video gaming (and fishing for hits by doing so), but flaws are flaws, and there's no way one can convincingly state t...
All the more reason to buy it. Although we'll probably have to wait a year before it gets localized :(
but they forgot The Splinter Cell Collection. Shirley I'm not the only one really looking forward to that.
I'm a big fan of adventure games, and I was really looking forward to this...until I played the demo. It left a wholly bad impression on me; the controls, the voice-acting, the graphics...it stunk to high heaven. Beautiful score from what I could tell though.
I wish I could pour bubbles onto you (no innuendo intended), but alas, I can only offer you a trifling one.
he'd be total rape bait. And right now he deserves to be rotting in a cell. People like him who are ruining the industry should not be allowed to get away with it.
They'll praise it just like everyone else has. If there's one game that you can be absolutely certain is worth your monies, it's LBP 2.
Shattered Memories was a stunning trip from start to finish. It's easy to rip on it because of it's unconventional gameplay design and the fact that it didn't feel a whole lot like a Silent Hill game. But I've played few games that have been so perfectly-paced from beginning to end and remained consistently intriguing throughout.
Dare I say it's my second favourite in the SH franchise after number 2.
And yes, Downpour has me wholly e...
Silent Hill: Downpour has risen several places in my most anticipated games of 2010 list; I think Vatra, for the most part, are making all the right design choices and drawing influences from the best sources. QTE's aren't an issue for me as long as they are done right (Heavy Rain and Shenmue for instance) which could make for some potentially thrilling boss battles. Fixed camera angles is an automatic win. Difficult changes in the riddles harks back to the old-school Silent Hills....
Tales Of Monkey Island has been out for yonks now. What exactly is coming out on March 25th? :S
As an aside, I purchased all 5 chapters from PSN a few weeks back - loved (nearly) every second of the game. Brilliant stuff. I really do love me some point 'n' click adventuring (despite the lack of a point 'n' click interface obviously).
