it sure as hell won't be on the PS3.
Edit - Assuming it's coming out on other platforms than the PC.
Sony hasn't denied it showing up yet, and we're only a month away now. I don't want to be too optimistic, but there's always a chance!
The best looking Wii game I ever played was Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. That game was borderline witchcraft graphically.
I'm instantly drawn to arty experimental PSN exclusives. I like daring stuff like this that doesn't follow typical gaming conventions and just does its own thing. Don't forget folks, Datura is out next week.
That's the first sensible thing I've seen you write in weeks! Have an 'Agree'. :D
A wretched "journalist" that specialises in sensationalism and knee-jerk reactions to gain hits. He's the worst of the worst.
nvm
if he were in this game.
The worst installments in the Silent Hill franchise are The Room and Homecoming. The latter obviously screwed up by having too much emphasis on combat, a rehashed plot ripped from Silent Hill 2 and an art style influenced by the film. The Room however was just a complete mess. A protagonist shorn of personality, a finicky inventory system, irritating ghost enemies, the fact that the second portion of the game reused all previous locations, the fact that the second half became an escort mis...
It's like my childhood coming back to life. Battle Royale might even act as a bridge to a third Parappa The Rapper game!
I'm gonna kick everyone else's ass using using Parappa so bad.
but in the same sort of way I found Tommy Wiseau funny in The Room. Laughing at them and not with them.
A-DOODLY-DOODLY-DOODLY
if Battle Royale is a rip-off. It really boils down to whether you have an affinity for Sony's characters or not. Me personally, I love various different ones like Sackboy, Parappa, Sir Daniel Fortesque, Nathan Drake, Robbit, Sly Cooper and Jak & Daxter, so this game is like a dream come true for me. Super Smash Bros is an undeniably great series, but I don't really connect with the likes of Mario, Link or Pikachu all that much, or the Nintendo brand in general.
provide the same kind of immersive experience that Journey did. Journey just left me wanting more so I'm thinking this'll be day one.
the dude who wrote thsis article DOESN'T want Parappa, Cloud, Sackboy and Sully in the game?! If he hasn't had a lobotomy already, then give him one.
and now hopefully with this impending patch it'll be even better. Nothing will fix those crappy monster designs though.
Whether you grew up with Parappa/Sir Daniel Fortesque/Crash, Jak/Ratchet/Kratos or Nathan Drake/Cole McGrath/Sackboy, it doesn't matter - there's something there for everyone.
And even better, there will be people out there who will play as the older characters and be compelled to check out their games from years back. A whole new generation may well discover the infinite joys of Parappa The Rapper.
Megaton if true. TimeSplitters 2 was one of the greatest first-person shooter's released on the PS2; it's time to see a comeback.
that the PS3 version won't be greatly inferior to the 360 one then. You know what Rockstar are like.
accompanied by a big-ass date at the end signalling its release some time at the end of this year. Bam - megaton. Internet implodes on itself.
