I think the real importance of this kind of score is why it was scored so high. I believe that the foundation of the industry has been focused on other things like the concept of popularity, socialization, motion control, online multiplayer, and family.

I've been seeing a trend where these values would supercede a game based on their single player merits. As an example a game like Call of Duty would receive high praise because of multiplayer, regardless of the quality...

Does this include used consoles?

I warned you about online and software control. Can you imagine what it will be like when single player games get this treatment?

That's a bit tough...but here we go...

1) Offer a 48 hour check in.
2) Confuse the masses and release the Playstation One.
3) Offer a somtimes on feature.
4) Allow used games for already used gamers.
5) Offer the PS Eye to listen to key Microsoft hate conversations, then upload them to Youtube.
6) Allow the PS4 to play used XBox One games, exclusives included.
7) Make the share button share TV shows, digital games, and ever...

Final Fantasy 7 was so good it made the rest look bad. I'm beginning to think Square made that game great on accident. They still can't seem to replicate the success.

They need to release their own Call of Duty Console. I'm tired of players monopolizing my friend's list with that game.

I can't pass the last level with the floating space suit guys. They shoot the lasers, remember? I've tried shooting those crescent moon shaped shields but they aren't as effective as I wanted them to be. I watched videos but can't seem to recreate their actions. Oh well.

That aside, the NES version of Ninja Gaiden was the hardest game I've ever played. The birds alone made that game hard and aggravating. Also there was no climbing, making going up wa...

Here's the problem. A digital format governed by any service has less value than ownership, yet they still sell these at the same prices. When people realize that there is essentially no difference in renting vs. buying a digital product, they will stop paying those prices.

Right now people still believe buying a digital product has the same definition... and these service companies will maintain that illusion for as long as possible.

In the end thes...

You wouldn't like them when they're angry. They might keep releasing more games. The last thing you want to do is give Sony the incentive to try harder. If they use E3 to bring to light even more games then that would be catastrophic...

Sony may even turn green and start some real havoc and release even more games. They'll have so many games they'll be flying out left and right. Then Microsoft will have no choice but to cater to audiences that played so ...

Maybe. Maybe not. They definately killed the consumer base though. Maybe they should be focused on that until moving on.

Then you will be arrested for violation of their terms and conditions for the service. Remember ther ass is on the line to conform to the laws, so they have a responsibility (supposedly) to be be a police force too. Knowing that they don't just serve you, would you really want to continue paying for a service that can do you harm?

Let's assume for a bit that there is no ill or malicious intentions from these companies. Let's rationalize their intent without using fear or paranoia as a backdrop to people's perceptions on the matter.

First I want to point out that these are businesses. Their main goal (s) are to achieve money and power. There are many ways to do that, many of which can be considered unethical.

Your personal information is one of them. Rightfully so since i...

Aside from online multiplayer, I Iiked the offline days better.

They are making online the prerequisite to play games that shouldn't require it in the first place. There is little to no gaming related reason to do that.

1) Gamer Masks. Why decal your console when you can decal your face? Associate your favorite characters to your account.

2) Voice Scramblers. Anonymous is most fun but not when all 16 players have them.

3) Fingerprint covers. Just like disc covers. Protect your fingerprints from exposure.

4) Video Loopback adapter. Just slide the screen over your PS EYE or Kinect. Loops 3 hours of video.

5) Eyeball scramblers. Prevent the camera from...
