Ratchet is the antithesis of Returnal and a welcome breath of fresh air. I’ll wait to hear impressions about the length because I probably won’t replay this game. Still, it’s more great quality and added balance to the Library so early and I expect this to be the highest rated PS5 game by a long shot.
Who wants to play a (old) HUGE RPG Trilogy in the summer? Timing for this seems all off, but I’m glad this is out now so it’ll be dirt cheap by Black Friday.
Yeah the controller is a huge improvement, but the SSD is the real game changer. I’ve been playing Returnal, Tony Hawk, and Wreckfest lately and having such fast loading there’s just no going back.

F makes sense to me. They Failed to properly support Halo—how they thought the reaction would be anything different than what it was for the game tells you all you need to know about quality control at M$. Throw in the fact that Flight Sim, a truly revolutionary and next gen experience, isn’t even on the radar to be ported to the world most powerful console…still smh. Wake me up to Xbox when it’s not just a game rental machine.

The fact Flight Sim hasn’t been ported is just lazy. Their company name is in the title of the game…they do know they made it, right? Being able to T-Bone drivers after dying in Returnal is really needed, almost like they knew something dropping this now, really fun game
Why buy now that prices are high?
Tried to play yesterday and had a crash, started over and the bug where items and doors won’t work happened. Deleted and reinstalled and will update and try again tonight…no dev seems immune to day one missteps and patch drama. Why do I buy day one? I dunno.

Wow can’t argue with that top 5. Raid is my personal fav. Everything BLOPS2 and before were pretty solid. Now the maps have been remade so many times I don’t remember what’s what. Rust, really? It’s called Dying Light 2. I don’t think the world NEEDS another zombie survival game with a stereotypical white guy protagonist…but I’m sure they’ll make it anyway. Also, when you have to ask the question that tells you everything you need to know.

I enjoy the challenge of beating a game in one run. It’s classic arcade difficult and Super Stardust HD was the same way—to do it you had to get off to a great start, have a little luck, and of course the skills. I suppose it’s possible for someone new to the game to beat it on their first try, but that arcade style boss difficulty rooted in patterned attacks you have to memorize makes it doubtful. For me this is a high watermark in game design with strong arcade fundamentals and I can’t thin...
