The Sims needs to be in VR. Same with Cities Skylines. I’d also like to see Far Cry given the treatment, along with the original Metal Gear. I can dream right?
Exactly, and if they change up the formula too much fans will be pissed, so they stick with small changes to say they tried something different when really they took no risk. This ensures profits and that’s all it’s about.
GT7 March 4th somehow missing, can’t wait to shop that used car market, day effing one.
More radical than a walking sim full of fetch quests? Maybe it’s a sleeping sim where you turn it on and pass out
Hype train approaching full speed ahead, it was really smart to port the first to PC and Sony will cash in with HZD2 no doubt 90+ meta should lure even more gamers to buy a PS5…if you can find one.
Enormous World confirmed
Sweet this will probably push me over the edge to try this game
Seeing inside office buildings and flying around at speed was a cool next gen experience, seems like hardware tech is WAY out in front of software now and devs need better tools before we see that uncanny valley come in to view
ND is working on Factions, just make that good please
Agreed, this seems like Sony trying out new “business models” to boost sales for devs on subscribers, very not cool. Basically a glorified Demo is this months flagship offering, wtf.
Where’s the PR depts head at? Who’s idea was this BS? And in December? Laughable.
They have created some great games, but after 20 years, a different product SKU every 6 months, RROD, cloud hype promises that missed, leading the charge to pay for online, batteries in controllers, and the same 3 exclusives over and over I still consider them the third best option.
All companies and people stumble. Musicians put out crap albums, most artists’ work is average with public seeing only the great pieces, writers struggle from project to project. Not giving them a pass…BUT Rockstar had given me so many amazing gaming moments they get a pass here imo.
Playing in a controlled environment on the best servers
No campaign at launch either so essentially an online only game that will see a huge stress right at launch. Not falling for glowing reviews either, it’s Battlefield, I’ll wait for a sale and a patch in a month, thanks.
While I agree, at least this years COD had a campaign and zombies—BF will be a dead game, not if, but when the next game launches and the servers die. $100 for a gold edition that will not be playable in a couple years. BF is more enjoyable but COD has the legs, just saying and even if they are broken.
Makes sense for $ony. Early adopters are a given as is holiday sales. To maximize sales these two things are better spread out and not overlapping so therefore it makes more sense to release big titles outside of the holidays and double dip.
NFL too, hopefully they will copy real football and realize EA isn’t the only option. These games should come out every two years and roster updates on off years so we can actually have a better game
They both made so much money in a mutual benefit relationship but money does what it does, ruins everything!
What if I didn’t play AC Valhalla, Far Cry 5, or AC Odyssey? Been waiting for a true next gen Far Cry for a while. Maybe true they are formulaic, but maybe don’t play every game?
This was my experience. If you only play main missions like I did (stopped at start of Act 2 bc of crashes) then you don’t notice the empty window dressing of an open world it is. Great story and fun missions of what I did play though. I guess they learned their lesson gassing themselves bc the silence has been deafening.
