Hopefully a sign of Sony being more aggressive bringing value a la Gamepass—I’m a graphics guy so this was day one purchase for me, but certainly a nice score if you haven’t played this gem yet.
Only one game lets you do this and we all know what game that is
When people can buy new consoles off the shelf, until then no
Amazing! This needed a PC port so badly, amazing game that will be even better on PC, must use Dualsense
Got a 4 star roulette roll that rewarded an invitation to buy a 2.3 Mil. Porsche I already had an invite to buy. Broken rewards is it’s biggest problem imo but I still can’t stop playing
Other than Skate and NBA Jam there aren’t any good/relevant games you can’t play or haven’t already been remade and remastered. Even the obscure good PS3 games, like the Pixeljunk classics, are available via Now. I don’t understand this obsession and demand for PS3 emulation
PS3 has to be the slowest console ever. I’d love to see someone test this, bc in my experience the loading, downloading and installing game (Copying Forever hope you didn’t actually plan to play this game tonight) AND the PS store on PS3 is so slow I could never go back.
Agreed, I remember when they were the best dev WAY back in the C64 days. Rumor is it will somewhat rely on user generated content. If this is true I think we are in for a treat some 6 months after release bc fans of this game are rabid and devoted. Day one regardless for anything that resembles the old Skate games
It’s like he’s trying to throw all the good will away that he’s earned with these free updates. Under promise-Over deliver. The hype train that leaves too early will likely run out of steam before it’s destination.
Imagine what a Bloodborne remaster with PC release would do, probably double that number. Staggering for CD Projekt sure, but not for From with ER—their pedigree is undeniable and no drama release, no micro transactions, stuck w $60 price point-it’s almost like they know what gamers want, and when I say almost I mean exactly.
I get that take, but GT is a day one for me no questions. Imo if you take micro transactions out of the equation it is the best game in the series. Essential material for fans of the series. For just Racing fans, sure wait for offline mode (likely a year or so away) or more changes that please you, like a sale—but for those of us not on some social justice warrior console war bs and need our GT fix the quality is obviously worth $70
Hopefully the add some wildlife too the environments while beautiful they could use a little life or lots more weather effects
Finally! I see some sessions in my near future where I just turn off the engine and chill, this update just shot to the top of my most anticipated list.
I wish there was an offline mode. Staying in a hotel for 6 weeks for work and the unreliable connection makes the game unplayable for me atm…it’s a bummer for sure.
It limped onto console and can of course recover, but I feel like they had to put it out incomplete and Gaas business model was the only option. It just so happens M$ chose to turn Xbox’s biggest game into the biggest money grab possible. $ay what you want about $ony, prolly be a minute until God of War turns Gaas. This is why Gamepass value rings halo, sorry hollow, to me—M$ did the same with Flight Sim, delayed it on console to milk the pc pay for planes model. Typical M$.
First month in a while where absolutely nothing hits for me personally
I’ll stick to playing PS5 games on my PS5, there’s a great library already and I didn’t pay $500 to play old games. We are already forced remasters and remakes as it is, but for those who never played some of these old games I guess it’s added value…is it worth paying more every month? Not imo.
When people line up to pay full price why would you give it away for free? I’d rather wait for a sale then be told when to play the game and hate feeling rushed bc the game is going away. At least with plus as long as I have it I can play it whenever I want to, I have plus games from years ago I still play regularly. Wasting sub time and money to play games I know I’m going to buy or rushing to finish isn’t my style but to each their own.
Could have fooled me, imo they crushed it, especially in level variety and design; the game went places I didn’t expect. This game is great bc it is so far removed from the usual formulaic annual bs we are forced fed.
Both systems have top tier driving games that are good enough you don’t feel you are missing anything by not playing the alternative. This is the point of competition—now if some dev not named EA could just make an American Football game…
