25 years and still no gameplay
I agree, it looked like it played just like old Halo, that wasn’t the issue, the problem was it graphically looked like old Halo! We know what Series X can do…now Show some sweet Ray Tracing, classic but crazy multiplayer, and throw out all the crazy tech stats for the nerds to get excited about. I think they’ll do all these things and flip the script on Craig.
As someone who ditched COD a while ago I’m beyond ready for this, but no campaign…really? Should be safe to expect rock solid multiplayer, but last few efforts from Dice have stumbled out the gate bad. I’ll likely wait for deep discount. I hate all multiplayer shooters now and I used to love them all…what happened to the genre? Maybe I’m just old but holy shit the season passes and micro transactions have sucked all the fun out for me and there’s no end in sight.
They have so many studios under their belt release management will be an issue, what a good problem to have!

It’s so old school at its roots it’s all about learning attack patterns, but I had a similar experience when I almost completed it last night on my first time getting that far. Did work with a damn good Hollowseeker with void beam, but 3 plus hours later it wasn’t meant to be. I didn’t have a good enough start and lacked healing so I knew I was doomed.
Yeah this. Thankfully it still looked like lots of bow and arrow slow-mo aiming and riding on Dino’s, no other game does these things better. A Zelda game made by Sony/Guerilla in Decima Engine would be something.
Exactly, they took a year and a ton of fan feedback to make Witcher a complete game. Fool me once shame on you…but it’s a real shame CDPR can’t release a complete polished game. I’ve learned my lesson supporting these hacks. Hopefully they fix it bc even though I got my refund I still do want to see the story through. The world is a joke compared to GTA5 though, a game that released on two gens ago…go to obscure locations off the beaten path and see the lack of detail in the world, it’s pathe...
It under promised and over delivered. With all the remasters and sequels these days how can anyone complain when something new and unexpected comes along and blows everyone away. Worth it?
