His comments are hilarious. Isn't he the head of the Xbox division? Is he trying to say that he has no control over things like The Division having timed DLC on Xbox and that he did not in fact sign the deal himself?
I think Phil Spencer's dislike for timed exclusive content stems from the fact that it is significantly harder for Xbox to get their hands on such deals this gen.

The gameplay and atmosphere in Nier Automata are incredible. I went from thinking "I'll play that game eventually" to "I have to get the game on day one" after playing the demo
Well I find that hard to believe when MS specifically gave many gamers less of a reason to get an Xbox console when they brought all their forth coming first party games to Windows 10.

Well it had no PS4 bundle and also went up against Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2. The lack of push from Sony and the competing FPS games made the drop so significant.
One of the most promising looking games this gen is almost upon us. I can't wait to play it and experience the world within the game
