Few games on the Xbox One have sold as well as Halo 5 has. Just because it sold a lot less than past Halos doesn't mean that it is being overlooked, that has more to do with the slow growth of the Xbox One install base.

These terrible, biased blogposts that try to make it to the front of the page and can easily be mistaken for news/articles are really harming N4G.
Why would they? The PS4 already has a more than 20 million unit lead that continues to grow. There's really no need to sell the PS4 Slim so low where they are taking a loss just to get more units out there.

Sony isn't really embracing PC, they are simply putting PlayStation Now on as many devices as possible. Even some Samsung TVs can play PS Now on their own. The reason Sony is doing this is to maximize revenue from their PS Now service and to give PlayStation series exposure on other non-PlayStation devices. You can bet that they want people who don't own a PS4 who play Uncharted 1-3, God of War 1-3, etc. to end up buying a PS4 for Uncharted 4, God of War PS4, and so on.
Runs that cool and runs that quiet? Well then Sony did a great job with the Slim, the PS4 tends to get really loud at times.

Excited to see what Japanese developers and studios will be announcing for PS4 at this conference. Now since the sales have surpassed more than 3 million in the region I imagine it's going to be an even stronger showing than last year.
You seem incredibly blinded by your hatred for Sony, so much that you can't see that the PS4 is a terrific console with some of the highest rated exclusives this gen. And yes, exclusives that you can only play on a PS4, making my purchase more than worth it.

He can't seem to understand that Sony is merely reducing the production costs of the standard PS4s and the PS4 Neo is going to be the premium PS4. Sony doesn't want people to trade in their original PS4s for a Slim, they want it to be a Neo. The PS4 Slim is for consumers who want to play PS4 games at the lowest entry point.
If it allows people to get a PS4 at a cheaper price, runs cooler, uses less energy, etc. then it's aesthetic design shouldn't be an issue. It looks like an improvement over the PS3's Slim models

It's not the announcement of the Slim that is't newsworthy, it's an article confirming that it will be the replace of the current PS4 model when the Slim models have always done that. It is the entire point of creating the models each gen for PlayStation.
Is this news worthy though? I mean, when hasn't the Slim version replaced the previous model of PlayStations each gen?

They are definitely referring to the Slim since it has been leaked entirely, but the Neo has still not been announced. This makes me wonder if it actually may be a no show and was moved to next year for its announcement and its release. Damn, the suspense is insane at this point! haha

They confirmed they are working on a more powerful PS4, but that PS4 has not been announced.
