I have a feeling that this conference is going to showcase a lot of God of War and Spiderman, can't wait to see any new games being announced too though
Why do you think there are so many Japanese games on mobile/portable platforms to begin with? Playing on the go is something that accommodates the typical lifestyle of a person living in Japan. The Japanese have been losing interest in playing games at home on a TV for years now
Fantastic numbers, that just shows how appealing the PS4 is that it can be successful in a region like Japan that vastly prefers mobile and handheld gaming. Its amazing that a traditional console has sold so much there with how the market has changed in Japan
Even more important is that exclusives give your platform more of an identity, which plays a major role in setting them apart from the competition
You will never give up? Then how about you start trying with your efforts in Japan, Phil
I want The Coalition's original IP that was scrapped when they were pegged as the new Gears studio to be put back into production. The teaser was amazing

Why did they have to cancel it instead of being able to work on it after Gears 4?
I love my Switch and cannot wait to see the games that are announced by the developers at the Tokyo Game Show, but the Switch selling this well in Japan is nothing special. They love portable systems over there and that was specifically why Nintendo designed the Switch around that feature
I loved the demo, hope it becomes a big new series for Nintendo
Nintendo: "Definitely not intentional. Yeah the NES Classic shortage was intentional though, but definitely not the Switch one"
Phil Spencer has made Xbox's first party content a mere shell of what it once was.
"uncertain future for single-player games"
The future of single-player games is only uncertain on Xbox.
They have a very large presence at PSX
Phil Spencer: "They'll believe anything I say, anything!" It doesn't matter if I contradict myself, sound ridiculous, or flip fop on everything Xbox stands for whenever its needed, they'll eat it up like they always do!"
He's just a company man, he cares more about making money and looking good to his higher ups more than any fans/customers.
Not when it's competitor is $100 more
I want this game so damn badly. Surely they can make it release by holiday 2018, come on Bend Studio you can do it!
The expansion for Horizon's story became my most anticipated thing to play. I just beat Horizon and it was incredible, I jumped out of my seat hearing it was getting an expansion and I wouldn't have to wait for Horizon 2 before experiencing more of it's incredible world
Great price point
I think the lack of success they have had with first party game investments has scared them away from making any more new AAA exclusive IPs. They would rather invest that money into Halo, Forza, and Gears as we have seen. Those are probably going to be the only AAA games they produce going forward and have games like Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, etc. be mid-tier games that fill out their release schedules
Perfect game to play around Christmas time, I adored the first Ni No Kuni.
If the writer believes that Hellblade is about his mother's mental illness, then he has inherited that mental illness. Writing that out even sounds harsh to me, but it is just not normal to somehow take ownership of mental illness simply because someone close to you has had it.
