The article writer has nothing to worry about. PS4 sales and momentum clearly show that there is no need for a PS5 anytime soon. We'll start hearing rumors of PS5 devkits next year with a 2020 release.
Days Gone being delayed to 2019 and Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us 2 makes it ridiculous to think Sony isn't still going to be PS4 focused next year
No, no, no.... you fail to comprehend that the 6th E3 of the Xbox One will be THE one to turn the tide
If only it was just God of War that MS had to worry about, but Detroit and Spider-Man launch soon after. It'll definitely be a tough battle for MS this year
Barely any content, but they are rushing to put this bullshit in? The hell with this game
I agree, where are Lei, Anna, and Julia. I never wanted to play as any of these guest characters they chose in Tekken
I agree, I have it on Game Pass and keep thinking "what the hell was Rare doing all these years" as I play. Hardly any content and the game feels empty
Didn't Xbox have price cuts last month? I thought that alone with the newness of the Xbox One X (its only a few months old) would be enough to beat the PS4 when Sony had no new deals or promotions going.
Looks like the PS4 is entering into PS2 levels of success where it sells itself now with little push from Sony. Can't wait to see how huge the sales are when God of War is out though
The author must not be aware that they are marketing the hell out of God of War as we speak.
Can't wait for this game, good thing Ni No Kuni II is releasing soon so I can sink some time in it leading to God of War's release.
Wow a 48% score and it is somehow article worthy? The movie is still slammed by Rotten Tomatoes
There are too many amazing PS4 games coming to care about the PS5 right now. This gen is still blazing with momentum and it wont be ending anytime soon, no need for next gen till all the big releases are out
Give it a re-reveal with a $30 price tag and people will bite.
Days Gone is one of my most anticipated games, but I guess it was the right move to avoid launching near RDR2
I mean Sony definitely didn't need it this year with God of War next month, Detroit in May, and Spider-Man and Dreams releasing later this year. But I still wanted to play it, at least its something to look forward to early next year
I lol'd at the "IIII"
Yeah thats why Kingdom Hearts III released quickly after, oh wait...
What deranged fanboys will do to try to harm the success of the competition's upcoming exclusives. Just pathetic and displays the person's miserable position in life.
They must have started screaming and hitting themselves in fury when they saw Horizon sold 7.6 million copies in less than a year. What they tried didn't work then, why would it now? haha
I dont know, I am getting excited thinking about playing Shenmue IV with my grandchildren.
Blue Dragon in 4k next please
Id like it to be true but the source is from Marcus Sellars and I have never seen that guy have a rumor that turned out to be true
I actually commend IGN for taking a shot at them because Phil Spencer has repeatedly fed us Xbox fans bullshit about them "investing more in Xbox first party" for several years now. The Xbox division needs to get their act together, the way that Sea of Thieves launched and the issues they are having with Crackdown 3 clearly showcase that their first party is not in poor form.
If MS wants the tons of criticism and jokes about the lack of Xbox exclusives and the qua...
